From what I know about tv shows ,channel has total control on actors. Sometimes even the payment of actors with high charges is directly remunerated by channel. Actors make direct contract with channel. I know few personally and so I know.

And this seems to be true. As komal said ved ji has been quoted. In fact at times even I wonder at the number of assignments kanikaa takes up.

I was very close to a new comer actress in the last show I watched and for her even a day off was difficult.

Kanikaa went to korea ,then lonawalaa ,then her promotions of restaurants ,exams . All this must have taken lots of time nd it must have been terribly hectic for her. For a FL of a daily soap ,who is there in almost every shot its difficult to manage.

So this article has truth behind it. But iy must have been sorted out as vedji said.

Piku even going for a day means you have to spare time for travelling too.

I had observed that after diwali the rest of the cast was shooting since morning ,kanika cld join only in the evening.

Its a very tough job that they have. Hats off to them.

i think the dispute must have been small. And I also don't see Kanika throwing tantrums. She must have just had an argument with someone at the channel.

Yes nothing to worry about. Keeps happening all the time.

I also read a article of kanikaa bagging a punjabi movie. The discussion point cld have been that. She must have asked for some time out maybe.

We all saw Kanika shooting with injured leg.

Even if actors do take leave or do promotion they do shoot their parts before hand.

Till know I hardly noticed Kanika's body double in important scenes.

For once I don't understand why making issue of this for one particular actor.

Actors/Actress do take leave, wedding, honeymoon, maternity, trekking, doing movie in some other languages, doing reality shows for other channels etc etc etc.

these media ppl are no less. They make such a big issue for a small argument. I really doubt if the six hr thing is true, she may halt shoot for a while, but 6 hrs not at all. plus she is the most dedicated itv actress in the recent times I am seeing(i dont follow much shows like i used to do once, so idk about all the actresses these days). its very hard to manage studies that too masters, shoot of a daily show and restaurant at the same time, the channel shld be cooperative.but yeah since like the extended days of the show and also she is multi-tasking is taking a toll on her. replacement option for this one matter is really pathetic especially when ph has no issues with her at all. kanika has all rights to be upset if the channel doesnt want to cooperate. and just now i saw another article of another show from the same channel having this same female lead issues, so the media shld take just take a chill pill

This article was completely unexpected and surprised me.i found kanika very cooperative and quite work alcoholic.

I think it must be a small issue which got exaggerated and sometimes even channel use such techniques to increase the publicity also.i think kanika is very professional.
