Great post, Saru. 👏
It gave me so much contentment to see AJ beating up Perv. This episode had a lot of direct and indirect messages about trust, integrity, and handling issues such as abuse.

AJ was fuming and on a rampage with that whip. His whole body was in full aggression mode, but the moment Revati woke up he dropped everything, including his anger, and ran to her side. His voice and facial expressions immediately softened out of concern for her well-being.

Then he went back to beating up and interrogating Perv and the same thing happened when Siddhi woke up. He was gentle with her but when Saru bahu started to insult Revati's character he went into Hulk mode again but only with words. He was whipping her brother but never laid a hand on Saru even though she crossed the line big time.

This is what being a real man is about - showing respect to women no matter what the situation. He stood up for Revati and defended her honor as a gentleman should but at the same time did not hesitate to make it clear to Saru that what she was saying was unacceptable. It was a great example of finding the right balance between giving women their space and dignity but also not backing off from correcting their mistakes or admonishing them, and most importantly, doing this verbally instead of physically abusing or manhandling them.

Nishant brilliantly portrayed the different sides to AJ and his various roles as father, father-in-law, brother-in-law, etc. while still seething with rage because of Guddan's "betrayal". Really, Nishant made it seem so effortless. Just when I think I've seen his best performance he surprises me. What fabulous acting! 👏

I am pleasantly surprised and greatly pleased to see a decent "buzurg" male lead being a good role model to the younger ones on Indian TV and showing them how it's done. 😉
