AJ is by far my MOST favourite ITV male lead, if not my most favourite ITV character 👏👏 And epis like these remind me of why I love him so

much ⭐️ From the first day, I have loved his personality... He has a sharp instinct, emotional maturity, good judge of character (apart from his bahus), respects elders and females, doesn't unnecessarily blame the FL (which is such a common trait in ITV males 🤢). Even in their first mandir meet, when she pointed towards Dadi and asked "aapko wo aurat pagal dikhti hai kya?" any other ma-bhakt hero would've had an outburst on her for daring to call his mother pagal 😡 but AJ was quiet, he understood the logic behind her words and I loved that. He gave off the typical AYM vibe when being introduced but honestly he is so so far from it... he is just an overly perfectionist guy jiska paala ek overly NON-perfectionist ladki se pada hai 😆 Imo he has always been pretty calm in dealing with Guddan (I'm pretty sure I would've strangled her to death by now 😆). No unnecessary manhandling, stands up for her honour even when he's mad at her himself ❤️ And yes you're right, he has never truly believed her to be a gold-digger, he only used that tag when he needed an excuse to increase the distance between them. And now that he knows the truth, he doesn't even have that excuse and will have no other option but to open his eyes to her innocence and masoomiyat ❤️ And he will take it upon himself to protect this innocent heart anyhow

Lo phir se shuru ho gaya mera AJ puraan 😆 No wonder my friends are all so pissed at me 🤪

Actually I think it's more to do with his respect for elders here than Guddan vs Antara. It's not GUDDAN'S mother he's putting over Antara, it's Guddan's MOTHER he's putting over Antara.. iygwim 😳 He respects his own mom so much, he respects Bhushanji so much, and what hurt him the most about the Kaushalya revelation too, was the fact that Guddan's own mummy had done this to her. Now, a woman who has passed away, who is elder to him and most importantly a MOTHER FIGURE... he could never even THINK about lying to her. I found it quite natural that he gave her that place over Antara... It stems out of the respect he has for his own mother, much more than having to do with his feelings for Guddu (although that contributes ofc 😳)

I too feel this might be the case 😳

But I must say , this statement of his " Aaj tak Antara se jhooth ni bol paaya to tumhari maa se kya bolunga " is one of the most or rather , THE MOST SPECIAL PROOF OF DEVELOPMENT in their RELATIONSHIP

He has already gotten his dil attached to her unknowingly, which is why he cares so much 😳 But it's not love yet... when that happens he will move zameen and asmaan for her happiness ❤️

My mom has always loved seeing my dad in pink so she was really excited that Guddan chose pink for her first gift to AJ 😆
