My sister recently started to watch the show after her exam & watch all past episode in one go & she came up with this theory:-
All the functions since the wedding had some public tamasha or other & even the main wedding had a huge drama in the mandap in presence of all guests
so the upcoming reception may be dadi or AJ's tera way to put a full stop on everyone's mouth including the family members i.e. Durga & others on weather the relation will sustain or not.
As this will mean an official acceptance of Guddu into the family & introduction of her as Mrs.Jindal in front of the world & after this if any question rises on Akshan's relation the family members will also be answerable to the world đ
