Since, I missed the former episodes, I don't understand; why did Guddan's father agree to this marriage. I can understand, her step-mother is a greedy woman but why did her father agree for her to get married to a man, more than twice her age?

After AJ announced Guddan's name as his to-be wife in the party

Guddan's father asked her "why was she silent ?"

& she replied that everything is happening with her consent & she is happy with this relationship.

So he didn't bug further.

Oh okay, thanks! But I do think, they could have focused more on other characters too just like Guddan, AJ, DILs, Dadi and step-mother. Because, all other characters be it Guddan's father, Rewati, sons (they don't have any screen space though) could be more developed as characters. Their characterization appears very shallow to me.

i don't know about anyone's development but i want this stepmom to disappear for ever 😡
