Femina Miss India 2003 and Popkorn girl Shonali Nagrani is the new added glam element of Star One's big ticket show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge which will return with its 3 rd season today.

This Delhi born Sindhi chic, who also was the roving reporter in the recently concluded World Cup tournament, will co-host TGILC 3 along the show's consistent perky anchor Parizzad Kolah. .

"TGILC 3 is loads of fun"
It's a rocking experience. We literally roll on the floor in splits during the shoot. All the contestants this time around are really very good; some of them even test their jokes on me as well! I used to watch the earlier seasons and loved the comic acts of Harbhajan Mann for his punju flavour and Raju Shrivastav for his rustic chuckles. The atmosphere on the sets is so jovial that even my surname Nagrani brings out wild reactions from everybody on the sets!.

"I am not literally sharing space with Parizzad"
We will feature in separate episodes; Perizaad will present Friday's episode, while I will be seen on Saturdays. No doubt people will compare us but this suits me fine. I will get time to do other things as well. A single anchor gets completely tied down to his/her project, while I love being free bird.

"Siddhu pajji and Shekhar Suman are thorough gentlemen"
Both the judges are fab. I have worked with Siddhuji before in Champions Trophy but then I was on the field and he was in the studio. This is the first time we will appear together on screen. Shekhar goes out of the way to make me comfortable. We have become like family within a short span of time.

"An anchor's job is more than just looking good"
Agreed that I have been roped in to add glam value to the show (is Perizaad getting stale?). But that doesn't mean that I have to be a dumb bimbtee who just announces names. As a presenter my job is to add true value to the show. Like if Shekhar and Siddhu dedicate a shayri to me, I will surely have to be ready to counter with a quip.

"Women are definitely a butt of jokes"
This is bound to happen for it's a male dominated show. Having said that, it's easier to crack jokes on the fairer sex because they have more colorful personalities than men.

"I had a blast anchoring this World Cup"
Visiting nine different countries, savoring their culture and culinary delights was a blissful experience. The folks in the Caribbean just love to party. Besides covering the cricket, we went snorkeling, river rafting, parasailing etc. But all said and done, the fact that India got knocked out so early in the tournament did spoil the mood to quite an extent.

"What's wrong in wearing the tricolor on your national dress"?
Regarding Mandira's sari controversy, I feel that people in India have too much time on hand to make an issue out of a tissue. Girls of other countries were coolly sporting their national flag on their bikinis! We just need to grow up.

"TV soaps are not my cup of tea"

I am quite content anchoring and am not interested in becoming soap queen. I cannot waste my entire day running from studio to studio and fainting on the sets I want to be known as Shonali Nagrani and not as some melodramatic soap actor. I prefer Bollywood as it will fulfill my wander lust, my desire of globe trotting.
