Parizad Kolah TV anchor "I am pretty comfortable facing people and being on stage. But yes, there are moments when I think to myself how I am going to do this" Kinku > Hi how is the married life? You tied the knot quite suddenly. How did you meet your hubby. Please do tell us a little about him. Parizad Kolah > It was not a sudden decision. The decision was made quite a few months back, before I started working as anchor on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge . Married life is blissful; so far so good. He has got his own business called Forbes Marshell. We met a few years ago through my sister-in-law who introduced us at a party and we started to get to know each other. One thing led to another and we fell in love. He is a very patient and a tolerant man, and gives me all the freedom I need. He is very encouraging. Saurabh > How do you take care of your beautiful skin? I am your great fan. Parizad Kolah > I generally put a sun block on my face, moisturise my skin every night and make sure I remove my make up thoroughly. Aqui > How has The show The Laughter Challenge changed things for you, professionally? Parizad Kolah > I would say it has made me a happier person internally because every time I shoot for the show, I come home smiling, laughing etc. Whatever I am on screen is what I am naturally. And it's got me more work too. Saurabh > Hi, what is your date of birth? Please tell me about your hobbies. Parizad Kolah > Birthday is on 19th of May. I am Taurean. My biggest hobby is to sketch and paint and I am very fond of candles. At one point I even used to teach art and candle making to kids. Mklsi > How does it feel to be the only 'Pari' (woman) in the all men show of laughter challenge? Parizad Kolah > It feels absolutely great! Chetan11 > Parizad, who is your favourite in the laughter challenge? Parizad Kolah > I can't pin point any one in particular but the few people I like a lot are- Ehsaan Qureshi, Sunil Pal, Naveen Prabhakar, Jai Channiara amongst the others. Laughy > Back stage, what's the scene? Are all those guys nervous? And, how do the celeb participants treat you? Parizad Kolah > Actually, they are not nervous. They are quite well prepared. Back stage, everybody is sitting together and watching the small monitor, which shows what performance is going on stage. And everybody has a good laugh. We have an absolutely great time. Micky > Hi Parizad, my name is Amish. I am a great fan of yours. You dress beautifully in The Laughter Challenge show. What do you think about it? Parizad Kolah > Thank you. I'd like to thank my stylist Kavita Lakhani. We sit together and work on my clothes, and I take personal interest in everything I wear. Robin > How are you? Parizad Kolah > Feeling great, thank you. Panj > Hi Parizad! Who will be your dream date Parizad, besides your hubby? Parizad Kolah > No one, my hubby only. Chaitanya > You have done so many ads and made appearance on silver screen too. After such a great job and gaining such a huge popularity on the Great Indian Laughter Challenge and marriage, what's next? Parizad Kolah > The Great Indian Laughter Challenge part 2 is my next project. And will be doing more ads and more shows. Thank you. Sumit_leo > Hi, this is Sumit. I am a great fan of yours. I like the confidence and the way you present yourself. Tell me what do you think while facing so many people? Parizad Kolah > I am pretty comfortable facing people and being on stage. But yes, there are moments when I think to myself how am I going to do this. I say a small prayer and get on stage. Thank you very, very, very much. It's come with time. Gehna > Don't you feel embarrassed by all the mock, flirty behaviour of Shekhar, Sidhu and the participants? How do you handle it? Parizad Kolah > Not at all. I don't feel embarrassed at all because I know it's all in good humour. Braj_pari > Which was your first ad on the television? Parizad Kolah > The first ad that I did really well was the Perk Slim Chocolate. Panj > Pari, did you feel nervous on the laughter's stage at first? Parizad Kolah > Yes I did. But once I started shooting with Shekhar, Navjot and with a great audience I got comfortable. And then, there was no looking back. Suneeti > Hi Parizaad, I find your sense of humour really great on The Laughter Challenge episodes. How do you manage to get so much energy? Parizad Kolah > When I have a great audience, great guests like Shekhar and Navjot and great performers, the best comes out of me. Chetan11 > What are the future projects you are working on? Any plans for movies? Parizad Kolah > No plans to join for movies. I will be anchoring The Great Indian Laughter challenge part 2 and let's hope for other (great) shows. Sumit_leo > I like your smile, and I can say one thing, "if you may not be the best you are better than the rest". Do you know it's like dream come true when I got your reply here on chat? I wish to meet you in person sometime. Parizad Kolah > That's very sweet of you. Thank you very much. I will soon be starting my own website under the name of www.parizadkolah.com and you can keep in touch with me there. Hanks > Where do you come from? Parizad Kolah > Mumbai. I have always lived in a beautiful parsi colony called Cushrow Baug, Mumbai. But now I have shifted to Malabar Hill, after marriage. Joker > How did you come about anchoring the show the great Indian laughter challenge? There are so many anchors, what made them pick you? You are doing a great job Parizad. Keep it up! Parizad Kolah > Thank you. It's people like you who always motivate me to do better. The star one (TV Channel) team had seen my previous work on Zoom, several TV ads and selected me the week before the show, without even an audition. They just met me once. Braj_pari > What was your experience working with Adnan in Kabhi Toh Nazar Milao? Parizad Kolah > One of the best experiences ever. He is a wonderful person and for whatever little role I played in the music video, it was worth (it). Sign Off Message > I thank all my viewers and the people who have taken the time to log on and chat with me. Keep watching me. It always feels good to have a great audience. Fans like all of you will always help me perform better. Love, Parizad Kolah. |
