Hrithik Roshan explores his funny side on 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge-Dwitiya' with the judges of the show, Shekhar Suman and Navjot Singh Siddhu.
The 13 semi-finalists are competing for the 'Hasi ka Shahenshah' title. Hrithik whose film, 'Krrish' is soon to hit the theatres, will be sitting in the judge's chair for the third round of the semi-finals to be telecast on June 9 at 10 pm on Star One. The episode will feature four contestants – Dr. Tushar Shah and Rajeev Nigam from India and Kashif Khan and Wali Sheikh from Pakistan.
After engaging audiences for fourteen weeks with their original punch lines and gags, the 13 semi finalists would be in the run for winning the coveted title. The first season of 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge', launched in June 2005, became an instant hit amongst viewers. Redefining the 'comedy' genre on television, the show created a unique platform for upcoming comedians.
Today, Sunil Pal, Navin Prabhakar and Raju Shrivastav have become household names, gaining phenomenal recognition and a huge push in their careers. The semi-finals this year are split into 3 episodes with Hrithik judging the last leg. The show has been featuring talent from India and Pakistan.
