Hi guys, am here with today's update;
First lets say a small prayer for our very own Jaipur and also spare a few words for Myanmar and China.
Highlights:
1. Power of attorney (POA) postponed
2. Gaurav and Rano all set to elope
3. Sohni shows guts and maturity
The episode begins with Veera and Cha reaching the Khuranas' house where Veera tells the women about Simar refusing to come and wanting to fulfil her duty of looking after the "beemar" malingering Chi. Bua calls Simar up and sarcastically tells her to come for all the rest of the functions for Rano's wedding. Veera then talks about how very soon Sohni will also have to go away to her own house. To this Sohni says that she is not going anywhere as the family needs her and she has to look after the business. To this Veera says that Rishi is there to look after the business and why must Sohni worry. Then Veera very cleverly says "poor Rishi, how much can he also do? Legally he has no powers. If only Balraj had given him the POA he could have done much more".
Just then Rishi comes and asks where Simar is. The same explanation is provided and then he asks Sohni to come aside for ten minutes to discuss office work. Veera tells him to leave Sohni alone and do the work himself. He says he cannot take all the decisions alone and then Veera again brings up the POA issue. Amrit quickly brings the POA papers and hands them over the Rishi who declines and looks around for approval. Bua and Beeji glower and Sohni hesitates. Veera forces him to accept saying that decisions taken by elders must be followed without queries😕 .
Rishi is just going to accept when Sohni says "wait ma". Amrit asks her if she has any objections. Rishi looks at her with astonishment and embarassment written on his face. She says that she has no objections but Rishi taking the POA can be postponed until she herself becomes self reliant and independent as her father would have wanted her to be. Rishi does not say anything but he does look perplexed. Way to go Sohni! Wonder is Veera is going to use this opportunity to ruffle Rishi's emotions.
Veera is not happy with the outcome of the POA but she nods in understanding while steaming inside. She calls Gaurav and tells him that the best time to elope is the next night when she can book train tickets for both of them. She warns him not to call Rano as the house is full of people and they can get caught. The function is in progress and the groom's mum nazar utharos with bundles of notes and gives to Amrit to donate to charity. Veera wants to add some and while pulling out a fraction of her millions, she accidentally drops an envelope with the train tickets for Rano and Gaurav. Rano looks on shocked and slowly picks it up to hide it. Bua notices and asks for the paper when Veera says it is hers and snatches it away.
Veera catches Rano upstairs and tells her that there were no tickets available for the same night and so they have to run away the next night. Gaurav would meet her directly at the station. Rano is apprehensive and pensive. She is sitting in her room thinking about the repurcussions that her elopement will have on her family. She feels it is not right to run away on her wedding night.
Bua comes to Rano and begs forgiveness for all the hurt she has caused her by word or deed. They hug and Bua tells her that she must go with a lot of love so she can get back lots at her sasural. To this beeji who is standing at the door with Amrit and Sohni says that bua is perfectly correct. Amrit hugs Rano and tells her that they will miss her but when they see their own lamp giving light to another house they will feel very proud. Rano thinks that it is not fair to run away the next day. She is confused.
Veera and Rishi return home (Cha disappeared on the way back!). Simar runs to open the door and asks Rishi about the function. Rishi says it went very well and thanks her for looking after Chi and missing the important function in her own house. Simar tells him that this is also her house. Rishi is suitably impressed and tells Veera what a good person Simar is. Veera agrees and tells him that Simar decided to stay back inspite of Veera begging her to go for the function. 😡 She tells them to go and get things together for the next days wedding.
Veera fumes in the living room and asks herself how Simar can miss the wedding when in the presence of the whole community Rano is going to elope! Freeze
Precap: Gaurav is leaving and sms Rano telling her he has left. Rano wonders what to do. Gaurav's cab and the Groom's wedding car stand side by side near the red light.

There were too many things happening to really give anyone credit for today's episode.
Amrit and Rishi were good as usual especially during the POA scene when Amrit tries to hand the POA over to Rishi with trust in her eyes and Rishi is embarassed and grateful at the same time.👏
