Baap Re Baap...you took my breath away for a moment...so let me breath for a second.. 😆 now..First Welcome to the forum and second please avoid using words such as hate/ dislike or other negative meaning in the title 😃

now you are right about the colors and everything this is kinda true and wish no women or girl has to go thru in their Lifetime!!

That scene was indeed disurbing and scary but we should never forget, that this is "Media" and fiction where they Dramatise everything ,so we should take all these things with a pinch of salt and try to earse them from our memory asap .good for peace of mind! right 😃

So relax and forget yaar!! nd please no such word in title. 😆

hi and welcome to the forum. I fully understand what you are trying to say and i empathise with what you feel. I have my own view point on this. All cultures have their own way of grieving. Often times, this method is used to bring reality back to the wife so that the grieving can begin right away. It has been shown to be helpful especially to prevent clinical depression. Ofcourse, it is portrayed in a gruesome manner and dramatized to suit the audience but as you and nish have said, it is quite hurtful. I dont condone these things but i do know that they are done.

First sorry to poster 😳 well i reacted in that fashion as some where else here at IF itself ppl are calling each other with all sorts of name nd using foul lang , i am sending warning pms from left right nd centre 😆 please dont mind as your title of the post scared me bit 😆 !!thought oh no...somone from thr came here 😆

now..chalia i so agree with you..as in different cultures nd cutoms ppl have diff way of showing the grief , we cant change it but i think we should move with time nd should not promote and GLORIFY such things, which is disturbing for some, just to garner the TRP;s😳 to make women cry they stoop to such levels. 😳

my opinion and i could be wrong 😃 but i am not in favour of this ritual where u have to wear white clothes nd do all those things ..i dint like they way they were taking out her accesories one by one. 😡 ..being in media ppl should take this as a plateform where you can spread awarness against all this nd not to glorify it further! 😊

i agree totally with all of you. I think actually the world has moved with time and nowadays many of these so called rituals are not given so much importance anymore. and the emancipation of women has helped with doing away these things. But you see, serials have to dramiatize things to such an extent that sometimes they go overboard. They then claim to be attacking social issues some of which are their own confabulation. Just see these soaps as some form of entertainment and let the rest be.

sorry for saying hate.. i was just upset after watching it.. thank you for the warm welcome.. i know they have to dramatazise it but the thing is sometimes the people who watch these serials actually really belive in things like this.. and thats what sad.. they emphasis ideals which shoudl be gone from society.. which makes me wonder how many people out there believe in this...

yeah so true and welcome again..😃.😳 y ai was disturbed too but then...thougtht wat else they could do...this is the latest trend to show protagonist as naive...weak nd timid...they get more TRP's you see😆 otherwise you'll watch a girl who is independent..upfront and can fight for her own rights!! 😆 this is an irony....nd unfortunatley we have live with it

😆 😆 😆 You said it the absolute truth to the last word. The world unfortunately does not accept independent, successful and clever women very easily and they have to fight twice as hard to get somewhere. So the serials cash in on what sells the best. To gain sympathy from the public by causing psychological pain and physical abuse to defenceless people (mostly women since it is easily believed that stuff like this can happen). Let them ramble on so people like you and me can wait in the wings and watch them make clowns of themselves in the name of entertainment. 😉 😉
On a more lively note, i would like to believe that Rishi, our hero has some character written in his persona and we will mayble see some good things come out of all this. What say nish, andy is the man!
