How are Reeva and Savi any different Ishaan sir?

Reeva also wanted the same thing that Savi had been dreaming of. So why was it so easy for Ishaan to forget Reeva and move on? Reeva was also aiming to fulfill her parent's aspirations. She was going to London for the same, right?

Then what has changed here? Savi is aiming for IAS, and Ishaan is backing her like her personal cheerleading squad. He and his wretched family have troubled her to the point of breakdown, yet she still stands for her IAS dream, unwilling to give up.

It is like Savi has achieved what Reeva wasn't able to - where Reeva was willing to bow down before Ishaan's insecurities; Savi has challenged Ishaan's arrogance and bias and has had a breakthrough.

Woh sab I understand, but what has changed in Ishaan that he willing to give the benefit of the doubt to a promising student but not to the "love of his life". Pyaar karta tha na. They had proposed that the engagement and marriage happen after she completes her PHd. Then why wasn't he willing to wait? Here, he moved mountains for Savi. But he cannot do the same for his supposed girlfriend

It's very simple, Savi is just a student for Ishan at this point. He does not see her as his life partner. This is the main difference. I am sure if at this point they get married he will still want the same thing what he wanted before with Reewa but there is still time for him to fall for her. For now he is just her teacher and as her teacher he wants to guide her. Yeah but later in the story we will see that his love for her will be so strong that will force him to let go of his insecurities which he couldn't do with Reewa. He will not be able to let go of Savi so he will try to change himself. Savi is a strong girl and I am sure she will keep her dream above her love and will make clear to him that she will not leave her dream to be with him and then we will see Ishan making a choice of supporting her which he didn't do with Reewa. I hope I make some sense.

The difference is that Reeva wanted to go far away leaving him like his mother did and with Saavi he is not involved. He might do the same in the future if Saavi wants to go away for work once they will be married unless by the time he changes.

Exactly. At present he sees Savi as a brilliant student who will win accolades for the institute. He sees in her a spark he has never seen in any of the students in the institute.

Prateek has pointed out that they quarrel like they are in a relationship and Ishaan laughs at the comparison as he has absolutely no interest in Savi romantically. I agree with both of you. Savi is still a student to him, not someone he is in love with. He was in love supposedly with Reeva. A little bit of reassurance from Reeva would have quelled his insecurities, but she herself was so confused that I am not sure, she could have helped him in any way.

With Savi, it will be different. She knows Isha and she knows Ishaan's pain, anger, and insecurities. Ishaan understands a lot about Savi. And this time in the hostel room, will give him a lot of insight into her life. They will understand more as to where they are coming from. In any relationship understanding facts and accepting it is very essential. The Bhosales don't understand Isha and Shantanu s equation which is why they repeatedly bring up divorce and in the process have alienated him. AS thinks that all IBs life she can feed him her stories and thus keep him away from Isha. She senses that Savi will undo the fabricated story which is why she feels threatened by her presence. I wonder with what right AS prevented ISha from taking her son with her. Reeva did not give the impression of having a mind of her own. Ishaan often calls Savi Ziddi and Gamandi. Savi has her core beliefs and will hold on to it. Sayi had given it her all to become a doctor. Savi had been deeply inspired to become a police officer since little and her parents had later maybe told her to become an IAS officer. Reeva did not have this kind of determination..look at the way Savi made Ishaan eat a piece of modak on his birthday, do the Aarti with Isha at the pandal and eat the Besan laddu today.she will surely and steadily influence his thinking and as ctions some day

They just narrate it as heroine's love made him to change his perspective towards career of women...And the time ex enters back makers made her into planning plotting villain so audience didn't try to get into why he agree for heroine and not for his ex

In today's episode when he heard Savi narrate her life story there was a reflection on IBs part. He recalled AS blaming Isha and Reevas excitement. He is shocked to hear what all Savi(a young woman( endures to pursue her dreams. It was a revelation for him m.

Maybe makers will show him observing Shika and what she is enduring . Maybe a conversation with Asmitha...
