And, as soon as he apologises he makes a bigger mistake. He doesn't even ponder for a second or think of giving a chance for the other person to defend. When a student who's sincere is blamed for cheating it is the administrator/teacher who should be investigating before rusticating her/him. But, Savi is not their favourite. So, why will they give benefit of doubt.

In today's epi, he was the only one who tried to speak in Savi favor or give her a chance but was cornered by other Bhosles & the teacher. Although later he got agitated by Savi. But towards end while driving home he was again shown in conflicting emotions about the whole matter.

I don't think his apology is coming out of compulsion. If that was the case, he wouldn't be trying to find out ways to apologize, he could just with a non-serious face murmur a faint apology.smiley4

This is a general perspective imo, that all the episodes & story so far need to be seen to understand where the characters stand or if there is any development. Seeing characters only from someone else prism, statement, comments or pov or with only a couple of scenes here and there will always leave room for a non accurate analysis & deduction.

Btw, you need to copyright your posts. I have seen word to word your comments reproduced elsewhere smiley3

This is what I'm trying to say. Ishaan is not firm. He gets brainwashed very easily. If he wanted to support Savi he had to be firm. Noone should be able to stop him.

Apologizing or the art of tendering a sincere apology is not saying a mere sorry.

It involves acknowledging ones mistake and seeking ways to mend things and ensuring one doesn't make the same mistake again.

Ishan feels persecuted or should I say abandoned. He clings on to whatever he's good at pr whoever makes him feel good. The Bhosales have kept him in that state of feel good.he mistakes it to be love. Anyone or anything that exposes his vulnerability he considers a threat an adversary. His perception is fogged due to that.

I used to tell my students to make mistakes but you should learn from the mistakes. Making fresh mistakes is fine but repeating the same mistake will make it a habit.

The Bhosales are habituated to their ways. Ishaan is not.

Once again bringing a more thorough understanding, perspective & analysis. Always love to read your posts smiley27

@bold. Exactly. We are already seeing change & conflict in Ishaan. Years & childhood of learning & growth in a toxic environment & being brainwashed can't be undone in a jiffy, but he is atleast on the right path.

Not a fan of comparisons, but in marathi version which this show is currently copying, the ml was shown dumb enough to straightly belief in accusations until proofs came infront of him. Here Ishaan is already shown in conflict even when he has seen something else. Unlike previous times where he blindly believed the accusations, here despite seeing elsewise, he is conflicted. I see this as a growth.

Personally flawed characters with potential of growth arc always fascinate me. Probably why i am also a bit biased for them.smiley9 I will anyday day take a flawed character that reforms or grows over a goody character that becomes heavy flawed or toxic later on smiley12

It will take him sometime to come out of the shadows of Bhosles. But if he comes out too soon, then how will show and story run too :D

Just see one instance where his parents stepped up to reform him and there is already some change in him, their words are having an impact. I so wish Shantanu was there today. Unfortunately at all times of need he has not been there for Ishaan or to take a stand. If he was there today, the other Bhosles could have been stopped when Ishaan was telling them to rethink over the matter.

Yes, true. If Shantanu was there the senior Bhosale wouldn't have been successfull in his mission.

Arrey waah! Is din ke liye maine kitna intezaar kiya. Kaash Ishaan ne pehle hi thappad mara hota toh yeh din nahi dekhna parta.
