Sai should have told him, Savi is used to her coming late due to medical emergency. She used to stay quietly with Usha M without complaining.

Honestly I think she left because she knew this kaand was going to happen as the CA was giving her numerous warnings that it's not going good and things will get worse. So she escaped as she knew this time virat won't save her from jail even if vinu or Ashwini begs in front of him. She didn't leave because she realized that virat will never love her.
