Had I not witnessed this in real life- I would not have believed it either.

But- it happens! Women get abused, not only tolerated, but also try with all their might to be likable by that person. And I am talking about someone who had full family support and still choose to abide this abusive husband.

But for someone like Sai who has no one keeping her at priority- only people she called family are constantly feeding her this is how love is - its harder for her to get out of this. People like Sai need strong anchoring to first even realize and accept they are abused and getting out of it is whole another aspect. Some accept but still can’t get out. Some know but live in denial and delusion and inly try to think pf positive times (Sai) very few are able to break the shackles and get out.
