She was ready to go with virat on her birthday (her adopted father) without her mother's approval.

A kid is ok with celebrating her birthday without her mom.

No need to take stand for her mother, but there was no need to act insensitive towards her mother by choosing a person who she barely knows over her own mother.

My main question is if savi loves her baba so much , how could she choose any random guy as her adopted baba without her mother approval.

Doesn't it prove she ditched the father who sent letters to her? (According to her virat was not her real father).

She is too young to make logical choices. She has an image about a dad figure thanks to what she sees around her, the letters/gifts & then Vinu ke baba. She hasn’t even seen her real dad in a picture. It’s just a vague concept for her. When she wanted Virat to be her father she had waited for long time & was not really getting any answers for her questions. Then she comes across this guy who is loving, a great dad & did things for her which a dad is supposed to. She just learn a concept of adoption where there is way of getting something or someone which you don’t have. If you look through a child’s POV is was perfect.

About her being ready to go to party or bday alone, kids do that sometimes. My child once wanted to go to one of our acquaintances who wasn’t really close friend just because she was going to make something which he loved. He assured me that he will be back to me once he eats it. 😄😄 That’s innocence of a child & it didn’t mean that he loved that lady more than me.

For Savi she wanted to go & have fun with Vinu dada & for bday she was going with her baba & brother & would come home to her mom to spend rest of the day anyway.

More of like abhi adopted baba se kaam chla lete hai 😆

Also till now they haven't shown Savi being oversmart to understand the current situation of how his baba has other wife.

Also someone wrote in this same thread about blood relation influences a lot, until they are externally disturbed.

I can be wrong too tho

@bold That's the disconnect I have with her character.

After having her adopted father, she easily forget her real father.

Not even a word about him. It's like she wants a toy which is baba. Virat matched her fav toy traits so she choosed him.

She easily forget his existence as soon as she got adopted father.

And the number of times she choosed virat who she barely knows over her own mother.

Vinu too had blood attachment with sai. But there isn't a single scene where he disrespected virat for sai. There are scenes where he was adamant of getting treated by sai. In those scenes too, he never disrespected his parents.

One episode they show savi not being able to live in CN without her mother, in another episode they show her packing bag and leaving her mother for her father and be ok with celebrating her birthday without her mother.

Savi knows about adoption but doesn't know about second marriage.

She is kid as per convinence.

Which kid publicly declares herself using her friend's father surname?

I am not here to criticize savi. I am explaining why I felt disconnect with her character.

She told her mother during virakhi anniversary, it's ok if u don't come, but let me go. For which even sai wondered by saying u r ready to go without ur mother.

Every kid mostly wants to celebrate their birthday with their loved ones. But savi was ok with celebrating birthday without her mother. Yes she felt happy seeing sai in picnic. But she didn't deny her adopted father too despite knowing her mother didn't approve of it.

In recent episode, savi in one episode u r my number one mom the next episode packing bag and leaving her mother.

I am not saying savi doesn't love her mother. But there is inconsistency.

She doesn't care when virat or his family insults her mother infront of her.

Usually kids notice such things. They will ask questions.

And imao savi not asking why her father married other woman is so illogical.

That should be the first question she should have asked.

Let's not say she is kid. Because kids will definitely have questions in their mind when one of their parents marry other person.

She forget because he never came and neither her aai asked what about real dad.

I guess I will give child a free pass because of excitement, kids get excited over materialistic stuff, yhan toh it was someone who was fulfilling her wishes just like baba and even Sai never stopped.

Vaise I remember the episode after savi declared Virat as adopted baba sai scolded her and she asked mere asli baba toh nhi aate and scene ended.

Her excitement got trippled when she got to know he is the real baba, the kid was so into it that she neither complaint her aai nor baba for hiding but happily accepted it.

And I don't think she was leaving Sai,she very well knew that Sai will not leave but come behind her and give the earful.

Savi is oblivious about Sai's loneliness currently which makes her take decisions like this maybe.

I know it can be bit annoying but that's how kids are.

Savi got to know about adoption from Vinu I will still consider her little to understand legalities and complexity one of the main reason sai didn't want to reveal anything specially after seeing Virakhi together

Let's say agree to disagree.

Yes she is kid. That's why it's illogical that she never wondered why her baba married another lady if he is the best man in the world.

Especially when she is the kid who can talk about adoption in public, can leave the home by packing bags, can adopt a grown up man.

That situation was different. She was sleeping at her home with her mother around & suddenly when she woke up her mom had left without telling her, didn’t come back at night & didn’t call to check on her. That was the first time it happened & she knew her mother would never do that. That’s why she had nightmare of some bad guys taking her mother away. She knew her mother wouldn’t stay away from her without telling her why she has to. When she was going to party it was just for few hours & her mom was home. That’s give secure feeling to a child. Same with bday & picnic. She never went to school till then & that was first school picnic which she was eager to go to. Having adopted baba & brother for her bday for the first time was an attraction too. She could always cut the cake with her mom like usual. She doesn’t realize that she is choosing one over other & hurting her mom.

About not asking question about other lady in her babas life. Let’s say that’s her Chavhan genes which makes her ignore important facts which get any chavhanis

I am sure kid will ask about it when she will be made understand about it just like adoption, the kid who didn't know what anniversary means I won't expect her to know what exact legalities marriage has.
