Exactly. I don't believe people saying only sairat works. If that was the case why would trp audience watch virakhi centered scenes. Especially the anniversary one, they didn't even did fake precap thing still they got trp.
After pakhi entry post leap there is hardly an episode without virakhi scene. While sairat hardly had alone scenes when they used to be married couple.
Today's episode a bit more of sai but last two episodes are majorly based on pakhi/virakhi.
That is cause sairat are not the driving force of the show. Vo to hum log, or shayad kuch tv watchers hai who are head over heels for SaiRat. But the majority of people are for the drama. Ab aise dhoondhne baithenge to har hafte mein koi na koi SaiRat centric scene mil hi jayega, but that doesn't mean ki uske kaaran majority viewers dekh rahe hai. They do want SaiRat to end up together, but more than that they want drama.
Ab jaise ye jo current track aane wala hai with Virat at Sai's house, Pakhi's insecurities, Sai's new job, all these are massive drama tracks. These tracks are the ones that will actually benefit them. In fact, actual mein it is not Sai or Virat but Pakhi's character that is bringing them trp. Everyone knows Sai aur Virat are meant to be together, but Pakhi ka character, jo baar baar unke beech mein aa jaa raha hai, is the one that is bringing all the drama, ab vo khud react krke ho, ya Sai or Virat se reaction nikalwa ke.
If we think about pre-leap, tab CN gang (especially kaku) and sometimes Pakhi were the ones that were actually giving the masala. Inhi logo ke kaaran Sai palat ke jawaab deti thi, ya kabhi kabhi Virat Pakhi par chillata tha and these moments were instant serotonin boost for everyone. And if you analyze it, ye saari cheezein tabhi hoti thi jab yaa to CN gang drama kar rhi ho, ya phir Pakhi taang ada rahi ho.
