His dialogues were cryptic. If you go by that then he also said he has no pachtava for taking those duties as he's been imaandaar to his duty & farz. Blah blah blah. Don't think too much on Ghum's dialogues.

I felt the makers were trolling Virat today .. by making him accept all the gratitude from police guys without giving it to sai .. it was yesterday episode.. so audience cannot forget .. he never mentioned her to those officers abd took their salute happily.. just because Sai was present .. he told the girl this is the doctor .. also he had no intention of allowing Sai to work in department.. and had framed it in such a way that Sai refuses .. but Sai mentioning her dad ..took the job .. now if he has any respect towards Kamal Joshi who gave his life to save his .. he would not interfere in Sai’s job in police department and keep his personal life away from it .
