Exactly!!!
Everyone has memory loss🤔
Perspectives..Personalities..Disorder
We all have opinions about everything. Even when one says "I have no freaking idea", trust me they will still have "Some freaking idea". Now whether it is right or wrong or if is even makes any sense is a separate discussion.
As a literature student, one is supposed to understand the author's POV, critics' POV and their own POV. Why do you think we need to look into different perspectives, when we already have the author's POV? Isn't that how we are expected to read and understand the story? Not really.
See even when we watch a scene which is crystal clear in its messaging we will have different takes on it. So the same goes for the stories. Our thought processes will still have some difference in opinion...something that is independent of any influence.
Perspectives may not define a personality, but a personality may influence perspectives. So what happens when a personality with various POV tries to embody another personality with contrasting perspectives. DISORDER!
That is what I saw today. P a complete disorder.
I'm as confused as most of you today. In the midst of an emotional and touching scene of a mother-daughter, that was supposed to be just the show stealer and as straight as we see it, there was a complexity thrown in the form of P.
Like I said we will have a perspective..and opinion. Today my confusion is not about whether mine is true or not. But because I have 3 and I'm not sure which fits with the maker's narration.
So my views on P's dialogues
Ashwini was worried that Sai mat say the truth to Savi. The implications - Savi will know the truth about her baba.
V is looking at Savi-Sai and their bond.
These two can be P's trigger points before she speaks these words
"Dekh rahe ho Virat. Tumne Savi ko duniyaa ki saari khushi laake di taaki woh apni Aai ko bhool jaaye., lekin Savi apni Aai ke liye woh saari khushiyan thukrane ko tayyar hai. Maa ka pyaar bahut anmol hota hai. Dukaan ke bikne wali cheezon se tum uska mukabla kar hi nahi sakte. Main bhi ek maa hoon. Main Sai ka dard samjh sakti hoon. Tum ek bache ko apnu ma se alag nahi rakh sakte.
Aur agar tum aisa karoge na to tum uss bache se uska bachpan hi cheen loge. Main jaanti ho ki tum Savi se bahot pyaar karte ho. Lekin sacha pyaar qurbani mangta hai. Tumhe bhi tyaag karna hoga, Apni zidd ka apne gusse ka tyaag. Agar tum Savi se uski Aai cheenoge na to yu samajh lo tum us bache se uksi saari khushiyan cheen loge. Pyaar ka matlab haasil karna nahi hota hai, balki khushi dena hota, phir unki khushi ke liye chahe unse door hi kyon na jaana pade. Sach pyaar Qurbani maangta hai. Agar pyaar sacha hai to kismat unhe kareeb le hi ayegi. Aur ye baat mujhse behtar koi nahi jaanta
1. Delusional P - The old P. Who is still the one who believes P-V's love story is eternal. Her love is true and V also loves her, but is attracted towards Sai.
"Saccha Pyaar Qurbani Maangta hai" - She sacrificed her love and married Sam (Her supposed sacrifice to be near V).
And this in her proves that she truly loves V and sacrificed herself for him. Later she waited patiently serving him and his family, sacrificing her own happiness.
She believed in the phrase "agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaaho to puri kayanat usey tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.”.
And the universe conspired to get her V. And now he is hers.
2. Mentally ill P - If P is suffering from split personality disorder, it may seem that we had the reformed P telling V the importance of a mother in a child's life. But her last line gave away that it was not the reformed one. Because if she really was the reformed one, she will know that her love was never fulfilled. Reformed P is not delusional.
She reminds him indirectly about Vinu and herself. "Main bhi to ek maa hoon". Vinu is there as his child and he has responsibilities towards him. And calling herself the mother, comparing herself with Sai and then trying to play the sympathy card. Begging for his attention. And finally reminding him he is married to her. This is his family. "Mujhse behtar kaun jaanta hai". See you ended up with me after all the ordeal. Please don't leave me. Ours is true love
3. Manipulative P - The one who has been planning, since Sai left, and maybe didn't really have to do much since a while as things feel into place for her finally. But Sai and then Savi turned her game against her.
So it is the conniving version of P. The one from the spider promo. She is already planning. Savi is her threat. Even though Sai-V's relationship is strained, Savi is that last thread that can bring them together. And she is that one person, who even without Sai can dethrone her and her hopes. She is that living proof that Sai gave him what he always desired. His own child.
So she tries to make V realise that Savi needs Sai. The important line is "qurbani". Why should he let Savi go? He can co-parent right? Why does she not mention any of that. She directly uses "Qurbani" and "door rehna pade". Trying to instil that thought in V's mind.
She knows Savi is his weakness, and he wants her happiness. But she also knows his fetish for sacrifice and be called "Mahaan". She used it all here.
She also used, materialistic things in comparison to love. I felt it like a jab at V for all the "candy floss" and "Chaat". along with the other gifts he showered on Sai. Unlike in her case none of this mattered. It was only love in its purest form. 😔
Coming to the two versions of V
1. If he is really on a plan here - Then he is surprised at P's dialogues. Her being so sensitive about Sai and Savi's pain of separation. She is the very woman who tried to snatch Vinu from Sai. So that is V trying to gauge where P is operating (Sadhika can correct me here). Once he settles for reformed one, he gets a bummer. Sacha pyaar qurbani maangta hai. If she is reformed, why is she asking him to sacrifice Savi? But the shock comes when she says "ahar pyaar sacha ho to unhe humaare paas le ayegi" Like V came to her eventually. There is a constant flip that he in his own emotional turmoil is finding it difficult to decode.
2. Then there is a V who says that he can bring up Savi like KJ brought up Sai. KJ didn't really have a choice. Sai's mother passed away. And he didn’t remarry for his own reasons. But Sai is alive. And the most important part was, how is he even comparing himself with KJ as a father. And that too to such a young child. V's temperamental issues are enough reasons for it. He is so obsessive and aggressive in his behaviour that he cannot be a sole nurturer of a child, Especially when the mother is still there. When he can't see the well-being of his own child when he becomes angry.
I remember Moor mentioning about Chavans' love sometime back. This kind of love of confining and the urge to own the person that V believes in like his family is harmful for a child. Especially for Savi who is a free bird, and free-spirited like her mother.
I'm not sure where it was today. If I any of these even fall in the options of match the following.
But I do feel that P will use Vinu. She is her only hope. For now there is no scope of love. And Savi is the pull. She will first try to remind V of his responsibilities towards Vinu. Become the mother she reminded him and will try to emotionally blackmail. The crucial point is if it is a solo or mutual custody. And P knows about it. We will see P manipulating Vinu now.
However, once BK finds the truth, she will be partial towards Savi and indirectly Sai. Then in her insecurity (she could possibly be aware of Vinu's truth) she will reveal to V that she just accidentally found out that Vinu is their own Vinu. Because she knows BK will definitely flip again, as for her will be about male vs female child. With Vinu on her side and his truth revealed, family will be by her side as she also the wife and the preferred one, and V will be in a fix. And she knows V tends to bend towards the pressure side, his family, just like before separation.
Get ready for a match of Tennis. It will be a close one, one set going to each alternatively. But for the longest time, it also means Sai-V will be at logger heads, with only the kids keeping them in the same space.
My thoughts on page 34
Too good. Nice lines about perspective.
I feel she's asking him to sacrifice Savi and let them go. She will want Virat to let Sai go out of Nagpur.
Trying all her left over cards and see how he reacts so that she can start her family with him.
She knows the possibility s remote but she's still trying. She also knows Vinu s friendly with Savi and likes her company.
She may start divide and rule policy with the kids.
Now she will start spying Virat nonstop.
So, BK and Sonali will plot something and fall into their own well? But BK maybe blind, not Sonali. She would somewhere be sure that Savi is V's child. So will she could possibly manipulate the DNA reports, (if that is what they are planning) so that the truth is not known? But what happens if Mohit can never have a child. Will she still not want no heirs of Chavans?
But I guess this one will be coming up a lil later. Let P enjoy BK's love a lil more, before she gets used and thrown.
There was a very important point in the story .. which I missed at first watch ..
It came in ninad n virat’s conversation.. ninad made him understand that going through court kacheri is futile .. as the court will award custody of such a small girl to the mother .. and the way you have behaved .. things have become so bad that we cannot stop Sai from taking Savi far away from us . She won’t be wrong .. triggering virat into action ..
This might drive the next plot in the story .. with bk and Sonali gearing up for proving Savi is not virat’s child .. plus pakhi talking of qurbani .. let’s see aage kya hota hai .. sai is not keen to let virat in hers and Savi’s life .. she will be glad if bk gets a fake report saying virat is not Savi’s father . It will help her permanently move out of their mind space ..she can keep it as memento for further discussions if any
Court case sequence shelved before it even made it to any of the creative minds 🤣
