Siddharth Bodke -what an actor !!

I think he deserves a separate thread today, what an amazing transformation he has brought in the character of Jagtap. Right from being comic to being soft to Sai, my god😭 imagine someone with murderer as a history making you feel so.

He is so quick and good with his lines, "main toh dhang se bol bhi nhi pata" was so true.....

No one would have justice to this character like Siddharth literally owned it.

Also kudos to writers he has got the best redemption arc in this show.

I really really really wish he played some other character; His crimes are too huge and his whatever capacity that he is associated with Sai will be disadvantages to her :(

Firstly we cant really compare VP and JM crimes

Crimes dont just happen. It is due to both nature and nurture

So JM belonged to a political family, a family of thugs, grew up in a place like GC and in a patriarchal society- and so his crimes are HUGE but there is some contribution of his upbringing in who he became. And he has actually served his time and genuinely reformed and presumably been released early due to his good behavior.

Compared to VP both of whom are educated, from upper class society. V is an IPS , from a famiy of army, police folks and P is a postgraduate who apparently was a blogger so supposedly very "socially aware"- grew up as the only child of her parents who were clearly very liberal and loving. So if she turns into a criminal who will actually sink to such lows to get her way where she is actually committing crime, fraud and an IPS officer no less is endorsing it and doing his own crap- that in a way is much much worse. These people cant even blame their upbringing, lack of education for how pathetic they are. Moreover they didnt pay the price. JM went to jail and these two went scot free. JM has genuine redemption and V P are still completely unchanged. P is still listening to others at doorways, being delusional, obsessive and manipulative. V is still an egotistical jerk. Both act like entitled ass***** who have not had genuine regret for their deeds.

And to be fair, even if we say that JM crimes are more than Ps (which isnt really true- cant compare apples to oranges) but even if we do, Sai has kept him away. Even now she hasnt really allowed him a say in life. Him learning her feeling on Savi-V was a fluke. She didnt volunteer to share with him. She has not accepted help from him in any way. She has not even allowed him inside the house except on 1-2 occasions- not even for something like a ganpati darshan. She is showing a few cracks of insaaniyat now and even that I as audience am finding tough to digest because at the end of the day he is a murderer and sex offender. But V in comparison has not only forgotten Ps crimes but actually married the criminal because of whom his wife left and lost her life. She tortured Sai for YEARS. In SO many ways. Sai proved that she had been manipulating and screwing them all for years essentially- it wasnt just about the surrogacy- it was about her intentions ALWAYS and she got P herself to confess that she did everything to get V (so she was lusting after her BIL) and wanted to be mother to his child. And to top it off she did so much evil planning literally within days of her real husbands death- even if she didnt love him- she should have taken a month or two to get over his death- people feel more about an animal or a stranger dying and take time to get over the shock- this was her lawfully wedded husband who loved her when she didnt deserve it also. And she was more interested in getting into Vs pants. And V learns all this and how does he react- bail P out and call her his friend, say he feels indebted to her, marries her and now is playing ghar-ghar with her- celebrating anniversary, flaunting an immoral and illegal relationship. So theres a HUGE difference between what Sai has done and what V has done.

Moreover I completely disagree with this crap about how by bailing P, V was fulfilling her basic right. As Sai's husband- he was essentially a unit with her. So if Sai has filed a complaint, in a sense he is party to it. She has filed it on their behalf- as a couple. And he has alienated Sai- his wife whom he supposedly loved - for what- to bail a criminal out?! Getting P bail was her own effing headache and that of her parents, not V and Chavannis. After everything she did, and also essentially confessing that she cheated Sam too-what they should have been doing if they were so concerned about their "izzat" was to punish the woman because of whom Sam died alone, because of whom the ghar lost 1 child and almost a second one too.

Its appalling that after everything shown post leap, there are people still rooting for Sai and V to be together?!

Sai deserves better than trash. Even till date, she has not recovered from his betrayals and his wrong doings. Willingly subjecting herself to more emotional torture and abuse just because there is a child involved is a suicide mission.

he was amazing. if I didnt know the history of his character, I'd love him even more. he is SO good no matter what role hes given. kudos.

Absolutely.. He was thoroughly convincing through out the sequence... He could bring out the reformed version Of jags do well.. His body language and dialogue delivery makes you feel sorry for him

He and Ayesha are the only one's that can act naturally in every scene other than them all others feels like over acting ka bhi over acting🤣
