Also if he was so convinced by Sais words... why would he go looking for his parents?

My new guess (after the hug spoiler) is P might have had to do something with his adoption. Maybe she knows something and wishes to keep it that way... if Sai or V talk more to each other or Vinu... they might get to the bottom of it which she might not like... hence the hug and mother India mode.😔
