So I cant help but compare ghkkpm against balh2.

BALH2 did a separation of leads, with MU, with a child involved just like GHKKPM.

I didnt follow that show as regularly as GHKKPM because I found it also to be very illogical and I wasnt very consistent watching it from the get go.

MANY LOOPHOLES. BUT from the aspect of emotional quotient, chemistry of leads, angst- it checked off the boxes.

they have managed to show how Ram-Priya have only loved each other, they have shown MUs being cleared slowly and truths tumbling out gradually.

And even though Vedika and Krish still exist on that show as third angles, there is not as much cringe as Ghkkpm.

Ram was even shown being a bit of a cassanova too but they never made it unsavory looking. They specifically clarified that he wasnt sleeping around.

Thats the difference. Is their plot stupid, illogical, problematic on MANY fronts- YES.

But they didnt forget to focus on the leads, their angst, their chemistry, their moments.

If you see the audience reactions, people have gone from hating Priya and Ram and cribbing to once again getting drawn to them as a couple because of the way the emotional aspects have been written. And it has been a consistent effort. It cant happen one fine day.

Ghkkpm makers on the other hand have screwed it up

Instead of using post leap to show V's regret, rediscovering of feelings for Sai which he could never get over, angst etc. they are showing some VP nonsense.

And NB is doing a pathetic job as an actor. He is really not showing any angst. He looks blank when he is looking at Sai. they have given him no monologues or introspection.

It doesnt matter if he sleeps with P, if he says ILU back or doesnt answer P that he will choose P over Sai- > because Sai is not even a choice anymore. no one in their right mind should ever want Sai-V together.

Sai deserves the best. sai deserves peace. Sai deserves to truly move on and completely erase V, P and chavannis from her life for good.
