Virat- The Master Manipulator

I was catching up on some of the old episodes of Ghum and realized how vicious a manipulator Virat Sai Chavan is. And this diabolical trait of his was never hidden. It was always visible and out in the open, Yet Sai went back to him - every time, after every kaand.

This man is such a smooth operator like a villain in hero’s clothing. Every time there is a crisis or predicament, Virat manipulates the situation in such a way that his image ends up being untainted. And he has no qualms about throwing people under the bus- be in Sai , Paki . Shivani Bua etc, etc.

The pattern is very clear right from the beginning

.

1. Samrat’s shaadi - he manipulated Paki and her parents, got Paki married to Samrat and he saved his name in front of Chavannis. He never cared about Samrat or his future.

2. Sairat’s first wedding - without getting full consent from Sai, he went ahead and told villagers he is willing to marry her. And in the end he got the Mahaan image.

3. Bhanda phod by Sai- to save his image in front of gharwale, he tried to establish that Sai is wrong and threw her under the bus. Actually he threw Paki too under the bus. He didn’t utter a word for her. It was all about saving his face when Sai showed the mirror to Virakhi.

4. Anniversary kaand-he expected Sai to be a Jyotishi and read his mind . And when she failed to do so, he turned everything against her and made her the villain instead. He carried that beef with him till her confession.

5. After cafe incident , Virat during his lamba-chouda bhashan, which in itself was huge manipulated presentation, cunningly changed the course of questioning when Shivani asked about the appropriateness of their meeting. He cleverly twisted it into his favour in a very arrogant way by manipulating Shivani Bua that he never expected this from her and shut her up.

6. The way he presented the cafe incident to Chavannis was ruthless, given the fact that Paki was too shocked to realise that he was playing her game of Master Manipulation . He emotionally blackmailed Jeeva to stay back with Ramayan and Ram-Lakshman examples and in the end tied him with Paki for a second round of sad life with her. Once again he gave 2 hoots to Samrat’s life.

7. Sruthi kaand - in the end, everything became the fault of Sai and Sai only. He was stubborn as a mule and stuck to his mahaan image. He indirectly involved DIG and Sadaa as well in this manipulation innings, again his image ended up untainted

8. And now with this sickening surrogacy track, how many times did he try to influence Sai to accept Paki as surrogate , even when he knows clearly the Sai rejected her.

Virat is vicious - noone should get a life partner like this man. Even Sai’s smart, rank holder brain has failed to process this. This man is so full of himself and how to save his image. Nothing else mattes to him. Its just I, ME and MYSELF,

Hopefully after Sai finds out how Virat cheated on her with Paki’s surrogacy , she will leave this dangerous man forever. Her current situation is worse than Stockholm Syndrome

What Sai Joshi needs now is a new ML . Virat has failed her miserably.

Atleast in Ghum he C with Sai only for the sake of having a child.

Now when he knows Sai can't have a child, he doesn't care for her and starts sulking as he lost his child.

All his love for Sai vanished in a few hours.

Now when he knows Sai has issues, he's looking towards Pakhi and recommending her to Sai even if she is not in favour of that and is uncomfortable with the situation.

He does not want Pakhi to move on and get married to someone else.

Now it's is not clear if he really wants a child or just doing it for ego. His acting doesn't show any emotions except inclination to Bhabhi.

He forgot Sam also now.

He didnt even comfort Sai after JM incident at home.

Trip with Pakhi n he convinced Sai to join n didn’t inform family or Pakhi… his primary motive was to make them friends n eventually enjoy attention from both the ladies…

I want add few more points.

1. Post vittal mane accusations, he was the reason for pakhi left CN, and he does nt want pakhi to stay her parents house, so he tried to manipulate to get back pakhi to CN, but he failed in that, so he blaamed sai, and he pushed sai to that extent that sai came and convinced pakhi...so he cleverly manipulated both the woman....by giving false hopes to pakhi.

2. After mirchi kaand sai wanted to shift to hostel, but there also he cleverly played with words and convinced sai to stay CN.

3. During shruthi track, hs openly accused pakhi always have the habit of adding fuel to the situation, but same man never said anything against pakhi while she accused, abused and humiliated sai verbally and physically.

Only because Mr.neil bhatt plays the character virat

If it was sone other actor playing the role it would not happen

Used Kamal Joshi and his teachings against Sai in so many different abusive ways..

Although Sai was partially wrong in calling Amey for Shivani bua’s image, coz chavans being chavans still taunted her even after they saw his pardaafaash done in front of them, but anyway Virat was jealous and possessive and once again insulted Sai and KJ in-front of a bunch of venom-spewing individuals.

Abused Ajinkya when he allowed his bhabhi-cum-mistress whom he had given an immoral promise to have a night pass to his bed room..

never confronted Pakhi for Ladakh fiasco...as to why she thought that she can go alone with him.

Never confronted Pakhi for spewing venom against him during Shruti track...

i still believe that it’s humanly impossible from an ITV POV to have the ML this dumb and pathetic. His character has been deliberately stooped way to low to accommodate Pakhi in the story..This is solely done to keep Asswarya’s SS in the show as the nonexistent third angle. Even from ITV illogic POV, Ninad’s character has more relevance than Pakhi..
