Yup. My husband was with me in the labour room for both my deliveries.

I had a private room and not exactly a labour room so my husband and my mom were there all the time but we later had to opt for operation... Vaha pe they were not allowed.

I dnt know about other cities, in Hyderabad many corporate hospitals are allowing husband/mother to labour room.

In my opinion they should allow the husband. They will realize what a mother will go through. I was on epidural so no pains and all but the dad had to see the entire process of giving birth and he was shocked by the end of it all😃. "First one to see the baby" is the only consolation for going through the horror 😆

Mine is similar I had epidural .. and was watching movies throughout ..

I told my son I was watching entrapment and jumanji on tv …. during child birth

My nurse got angry with me .. she said this epidural will finish hurry up ..

I was like ohho .., my husband was with me nearby .. chatting away with relatives on phone
