I know that nobody here knows me. But I was always a silent reader in the forum. I have not read any fanfiction but i know you guys are amazing writers. This is my first post in the forum. and this is my last post since I completely get rid of this toxic show. Special thanks to you all. I actually started to watch the show for Sai, which was a different character and flawed. Though I dont agree with Virat, I liked him and to some extent can sympathise with him till this track. Eventhough show is full of negativity and toxicity, I didnt miss any epi eventhough I bash makers in my mind. Never did any bashing till last week. But I lost my complete control of my anger on the makers for the way they normalised abuses and whitewashed virat, the character. Most annoying part is the way they made sai into a mere doormat, I say much worse than doormat bahus I heard. As a women, I curse myself the moment I started watching this nonsense show. l never thought I will say this. Any way thanks to you guys also. It is not easy to get rid of a habit that we followed since one year. For me too it was not easy. But you guys helped me a lot. I agree to most of your pov regarding the show. I get the updates mainly through you. I got wonderful analysis of characters even for the character patralekha during the initial days. As you all know, now most of viewers cannot handle the abuses and toxicity in the show like me. I have succefully stopped watching the show from last week. When I felt like watching the show these days, I come to forum and read your analysis so that my tendency vanishes. Heartfelt thanks to all of you for helping me to detox completely. Thank you all for all those who have given different viewpoints and wonderful analysis.

Good for you. Its sad that people are leaving the forum due to getting disheartened by the show....but its understandable. I wish I could do a detox too but I am too damn addicted and I love Ayesha too much....

But I stopped writing a full on review now. I still post stuff but its much shorter and no longer a dedicated thread. so miniscule progress I made ! lol

somewhere I keep thinking maybe all this backlash will cause a miracle and get makers to notice and fix things. but everyday my hope dies a little more :(

I was also hoping for a little positivity. But as we all know, things are getting more and more toxic day by day. I didnt want any romantic scenes. I can also bear 3rd angle. But cannot accept abuse and domestic violence and after all that, just normalise and whitewash it. That is my only issue. If makers had given a little attention to audience opinion, things will not have came out worse upto this extent
