A glimpse of what could be!

Let’s accept yesterday’s dream sequence for what it was - a desperate bid to pacify a very unhappy audience. It worked to some extent. And it also showed what this team is capable of!!!

The direction, the camera angles, the editing - all too notch. Beautiful and crisp execution of the entire sequence. No mishap, nothing out of place. So it IS possible.

Did you notice Samrat and Didi. They looked so beautiful together. Why aren’t they exploring that relationship? Mohit and Karishma’s marriage? The relationship between the older generation. They have such talented actors and they’re being wasted. Even ML and PL looked and acted their parts.

I’m starting to wonder if the actors are as over this drag fest as we are. I mean we get tired of them spewing the same ridiculous dialogues day after day. How do they feel. They have to do this all day long. Every single day. Maybe they’re over it as well. But they can’t just walk away. Forget offscreen equations!!! If the work gets monotonous, you get bored and it starts showing.

Just giving a different perspective. I hope that the creative team takes the end of this track as a new beginning and starts putting in more effort. They are capable of incredible creativity, but they’re choosing not to. And they’re wasting precious talent!!

We have been busting on the actors for far too long (myself included). But maybe, just maybe they are not the problem. The problem lies elsewhere!!!

Well it was done by Kenil, the choreographer. So it had to be crisp and good. When done by the director friends, actor do whatever they want to do.

I agree with you and that’s exactly my point. The team running the ship needs to get their act together. They have to be able to pull the best out of their team whether it’s costumes, editing, writers or actors. That’s why certain film directors do better no matter what actor you give them and some will flop with even superstars.

The fake tummy kiss was cringey tho just like that fake kiss in the neck of Pakhi's dream sequence of Sai & Virat.
