Virat as a character has a massive identity crisis. I feel like he thrives with validation and attention. When he doesn't get them, he goes Crazy with a capital C.

I mean, ITV heroes aren't exactly specimens of the modern 21st century men that every woman wants. But makers couldn't have done worse with this guy.

Sahi pakde hai...the male ego and the fear that someone will point out that he is wrong... if you see the episode, whenever Shruti tells him about Sai's pov and how she is not wrong, his expressions change...he cannot ever accept his mistake and let anyone show him the mirror, sai exactly does that and I am afraid for SaiRat re-union, they will go through Sai's apology way only, since the way they are portraying him, there is no other way.

Maine bhi sabse pehle Precap dekha...sai bai was looking beautiful but this man...omg, after proposing live-in to another woman, he goes and tells sai that you are taunting me since the time I saw you in hospital.. nothing can save his character and he is making sure that elders oust him, so that he can play house with his new vulnerable zimmedaari who will keep on reminding him about how if he was not there, she would not have survived.

And he is getting that validation from other ladies, other than his wife... sometimes I feel him and Pakhi are match made in heaven...so compatible, they have exactly what they want in each other.

Makers aren't doing anything worse to him, just showing the true colours of the person he actually is..we saw a glimpse of him previously, was given benefit of doubt always but he is that... it's not butchering for sure.

Even i skpped the whole episode but that man got me pissed off in the precap. The show is becoming unbearable to watch, Where they are going to follow after this track ? Defenitly it is not following from KD tracks. If writers are in sane mind, They should now give more screen time to Sai Kamal Joshi not Shruti Virat and mr.Virat needs to taste his own medicine, Before Sada comee into picture again i just want leap of atleast 1 year and after that a track where Sai is taking care of a girl child ( Her parents died in car accident and Sai was there during accident, Sai adopted her through legal procedure ) And then mr.Virat and Sai Joshi's path crosses again.

After a year leap....

In a gurden Virat playing with Sahas and Sai playing with Khushi ( that girl child motivated Sai, believed in Sai made her happy that is why she named her Khushi )

Virat seeing Sai happily playing with a girl and smiling but then all of the sudden that smile turns into despair after Khusi calling Sai "mum"..

What happend with Sai Joshi needs to happen Virat Chavan also. Misunderstanding Sai, Feeling of getting cheated by Sai and heart break, Feeling of third person in your Sai's life. I know this might be my wildest imagination 😆 But i just want Tit For Tat kind of track where Virat also suffers from what Sai suffered because of him, Even makers can take advice from me if they want.🤣

In the anniversary fiasco she said about his master plan of being sawaar on 2 boats, which eventually came true in days to come, he and sunny even accepted that he has experience in balancing two people...now too, sai said he is a buzdil, he is scared when he does something wrong and tries to hide it from everyone else...be it cafe incident, if Sai had not seen him holding hands with Pakhi, he would have never talked about it to the family, similarly now, if Sai and Pulkit had not seen him and Shruti and him being sahas dad, he would have distorted facts and presented his own version...also, he is coward, wants to project all the decisions on someone else...when before marriage, sai asked him to run away, he says he won't and it's a yes from his side...if Sai would have run, which she couldn't since she was younger and immature and GC was her home, how could she, it would have been projected that Sai did not want to marry him, that she ditched the mahaan soul... similarly now, the divorce decision, he doesn't clarify things but says if Sai wants divorce he will give her, again projecting it on her... similar instances were there during Ajinkya's incident, where sure Pakhi told Ajinkya to go to Sai's room but the reaction, rather overreaction was his own...he will blame anyone and everyone for his mistakes. Ousting-house members, Sai's second accident- sai...

Also, the thing that pinches him is that Sai is independent, he wanted her to be atleast financially dependent on him, since due to Pakhi's presence, sai especially in the beginning disowned him many times, due to his own actions, however, he again misjudged her, she doesn't want financial help from him, was always dependent on him emotionally. Also, that ego that family members love her more than him, everything should revolve around him...sai should keep him on her first priority when she is not even last in his, similarly family too should treat him as the Raja beta/ chaheeta beta.. can't take that they have a chaheeti bahu now, however, it's due to Sai's own efforts that she is here.

Shruti or for that matter, Pakhi fight with him but the next moment, they come to him with their sorry with how they will be left all alone if not for him because of their negligent self respect. Sai doesn't do that because she is always right and has alot of self respect...it's always him who has to apologise, hurts his ego. Live in with Shruti... disgusting, when Sai was tortured day in and day out by his family members, he could not take a stand and leave his 'family', however with Shruti, going to live with his new nuclear family, caring for sahas, so uncomfortable..and Shruti what kind of lady man, she realises that Sai isn't wrong but still cannot say no to him saying it might hurt sai more. I don't know why they are trying to recreate SaiRat, that live in proposal with bharosa dialogue reminded me of the SaiRat SR, when he tells sai to share bed with him and have bharosa, they are drawing many such parallels... unbearable.

It's not character butchering, it's his character, which is coming forth in full galore, he was given alot of BOD till date, not anymore...if Sai was not there in his life, he would have started living with Pakhi... about cafe incident, Sammy came back by then...if Pakhi was alone then, he might have accepted her proposal then but due to presence of his brother, he can't cross that line.
