I agree with you with last point.ecmven my sixth sense also hinting me that the may show sai suicide attempt to accommodate her absence. But instead of showing that they wud show virat realization how badly he hurted sai from a third person perception.

Like virat and sunny convo some flash back Incidents

Virat and pulkit. It lessens the hatred of virat character little bit. And Audience will feel little bit redemption.

But keep on showing virat is mahan sai is a villain sruthi is bechari wont work out.

Ayesha has nailed the expression, body language. She looks in equal oarts broken, hurt, vulnerable as does she look mature, wise, professional, composed. She wenr from being on the floor bawling to conposing herself and putting everything in perspective.

She has done it all without being over the top.

Kudos to Ayesha singh! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

On the contrary virat is a mess.

There were a few decent dialogues in the shruti virat convo but their impact was completely diluted by the overall poor scene writing.

So there was a point where Shruti says- you have painted the picture in such a way that anyone would doubt you. 100. % true.

Virat says- you don't need to get involved in my relationship with my wife. Also a good thing.

He also says Sai is self made, independent and focused. She doesn't need anyone. True. She knows how to pick herself up and live life on her own terms. She wants a companion but does not NEED one . And its good that Virat realizes at least now that shes not someone who "needs" him and his support. So i wish he'd realize then that if she stayed with him all this time, it was because she wanted to, because she was giving their relationship a chance, not because she was a helpless damsel in distess who had nowhere to go. Why then did he previously tell Sai he wants to fulfill financial responsibilities towards her?! Why does he make her feel small each time?!

And the rest of virat shruti convo made no sense. Because Virat despite saying dont get involved has revealed a lot to Shruti and in it he has painted Sai as the villain- the distrusting wife who doubted him n left him. He has revealed to a stranger how they had trust issues in the marriage and also said that - Sai doesn't trust me so she left. But theres zero acknowledgement that he has NOT been worthy of her trust. After seeing and tolerating pp in his life, after all the kaands in their life that have led to seperations- this was too much- she has a breaking point, they were making baby steps but he handed her a major blow ....she gave him ENOUGH chances to tell her the truth. Ok he couldn't tell her all but at least he could have told her he is being forced to play house with Shruti. At least allow Shruti to clarify that to Sai. Is he ok sacrificing his relationship over MU and ego?! He keeps harping on the fact that he would have told her in due time- but WHEN?! How long is she supposed to wait. Virat is too far in this self victimization boat. And Shruti is too shrill. I'm glad she's not inhumane enough to not feel guilty for somehow creating a rift but all this talk of dying is too melodramatic. She has a kid! Did she forget?! Instead of her shrill melodrama may have been better to see a monologue from her vowing to speak to Sai somehow and explain the situation and fix it. But nahi. Aisa toh nahi karegi. Just cry about her guilt and give impetus to VCs mahaan complex. "Tumne jitnaa kiya, voh koi nahi karega" . Correct hai. Because he's a fool. Airplanes mein bolte hai na- gotta wear your own o2 mask before helping others. But virat is an idiot. He is a sadist and masochist in a sense. He seems to get s kick and pleasure out of self destruction, pain, angst and Sai as his wife is always the collateral who will bear the brunt of all his poor decisions.

In the Sai pulkit convo, I had mixed feelings.

On the one hand i agree that personal professional shouldn't be mixed. We should strive to see things in buckets and compartmentalize.

For example we get criminals from jail as patients and we are obliged to treat them just as any other patient.

I have had interesting debates with other doctors about whether they have ever asked a patient from jail- what crime they committed. I personally dont because I don't think I'd be comfortable. But perhaps if I did I may get other valuable info in terms of diagnostic clues etc or just humaj psychology....

Doctors often make small talk about people's personal lives- occupation, family, travel h/o etc for a reason. Apart from building rapport it can be valuable in terms of providing diagnostic clues. An occupation of being in construction business or having a pet parrot or having a history of travel to Vietnam etc etc can all be helpful to think of things we would not consider otherwise.

But if I ask a criminal what he did , and he says he is a rapist or murderer can I really be unaffected and do my job impartially thereafter? I dont think I personally could but I also actually dont know coz I havent put myself in that situation . maybe I can. Because in emergencies we are wired in such a way that we focus on the task at hand. Adrenaline kicks in. Our brain doesn't let us think of random stuff if we are truly focused and theres much else to keep us occupied.

So while pulkit is being too emotional even more than Sai, its also interesting to consider- if he has a huge grudge against his patient, perhaps the professional thing to do is to refuse to treat her so that his personal prejudice doesn't hamper his professional judgement. Especially when the case is an "elective" procedure not an emergency....in Shruti's case - its not clear. We are told its "complicated" but it does not seem emergent if Shruti is chitchatting with everyone.

So even though makers didnt really consider/dwell on these things, it got me thinking.

Dont think theres a right/wrong about pulkits stance.

If it was an emergency, then there's not much of a choice. He is bound by oath to do his due diligence. But here, in an elective situation, its actually tricky. He is not even the primary doctor. Hes just a consultant called for his expertise. And while professionalism dictates that you dont refuse a consult, when you are "consulting" you have a responsibility to not bite off more than you can chew as well. So if pulkit thinks he cannot do his job without bias then its best to get another doctor who can.

What if there was some other student(Sai's friend) from college instead of Sai and he recognized Virat. And staff of hospital ask him how he knows virat and of course they say the truth that he is there friend Sai's husband. What will virat gonna do than.

Can hospital staff go for a police complain for false information.

Can this guy downgrade any more? Pathetic. He is still busy accusing Sai of not trusting him and in self victimisation mode. “Main aisa pati nahi hoon jo apni sachai prove karta rahoon” Seriously? The same guy who followed her on the streets demanding an explanation for having a guy in her room. Does this only apply to wives or females in general? On one hand he says their relationship has not reached that level and then he say this. Aren’t u supposed to work towards building that trust in a relationship? How else do u work on a relationship, it just doesn’t land up like a perfect dish on your platter. And on top of that he has created situations for anyone to suspect him, his entire family does.

You have rightly put it. He is an ego centric sadist & masochist. There is some weird ego induced dream that he has, wherein he expects Sai should trust him blindly. It is like an achievement, an award that he doesn’t aspire for but demands it. Because he is so worthy & virtuous? It’s not about Sai here again, its about him. He can never go wrong hence she should take any of his bull sh**. Such an MCP!! Ironically, it is coming from a man who accused her and beat up her friend, ran after her for an explanation on road just because he saw her with that guy in her room. And he wants her to believe him after throwing one bomb after the other on her face and giving her no clear explanation himself. Come on!!

He was in such contrast with Sai today. She was so mature, strong and level-headed. There she was holding back her broken heart, putting on a brave front and doing what is right, human. She is not letting her personal equation or grudge come between humanity and work ethics. And there we have the Mahaan Chavan who is out there busy sulking, trying to show another woman what a pure heart he is and how he has been wronged and misunderstood by his wife. Can he also tell her what he has done with Sai in the past? No he will not. That doesn’t even register in his mind. How will it? He has already apologised for it. So its done and dusted and erased like it never happened🤷‍♀️. He kept defending himself by saying Sai didn’t trust him, but the moment she tried to justify Sai’s stand or say that this is wrong or she should resolve it he cuts her out. How can he let go off this opportunity and let Sai be proved right in any way.

He just wants sympathy for himself. Period! It gives him some sadistic pleasure, a high. He is wanting that from Shruti and he likes the same from Pakhi. When Pakhi comes to sympathise with him and agrees that he has been wronged, he forgets everything and relishes the pampering. Enjoying it much!

For me he proved today he doesn’t love Sai. Atleast not the way he claims to. He is just attracted towards her and wants to mould her his way. All the while claiming to like her for what she is. You don’t give up on your love like this. This also clears an earlier doubt on his helplessness vs his willingness to let Sai go. He wasn’t helpless, he wasn’t willing enough to try any harder. Even after what happened at the hospital he is accusing and placing the blame on Sai clearly. When Shruti said it might be late, he has already declared its late. What was she supposed to do? Wash his feet and drink that water? And where is that love? Where is that desperation of losing someone you claim to love so much? He was more like “she is capable for fending for herself”. And even this statement sounded more sarcastic than something he was proud of. He is hating the aspect that she can survive without him and is not dependent on him. Sick! And this is what MCPs are. They want women to be dependent on them for all their needs (emotional, physical and financial) and they should be like a doormat placed on their foot, available at their beck n call and take any garbage thrown their way.

Sai is not meant for such a loser. She deserves better.. much better! I can’t even imagine her apologising to this guy now and him feeding his mammoth ego.

I agree Pulkit’s stand is a lil grey. On professional grounds it’s unfair to walk out like this, but at the end of the day docs are also human. If they are emotionally disturbed and may not be able to give their 100%, its better to pass on the case to another doc than risk the patient.

Ghum's terms and condition

Husband can lie and sign hospital papers in-front of wife but wife should trust him, and wife can not have a friend in her room or @home ..

I had the same, when I saw my husband with his Ex_when he came home I was so angry that I trowed something to his head but he saved himself..

but he didn't said you should trust me, he is teasing me on this ..but told me why he was there.. she was there because she wants him back and he ask me you don't love me right then why are you angry..my first time confession..

But he is my friend first then my husband..

Ghum has become such a big crap show there is no story left..it's al about cry baby Virat ..

Ghum has make a joke of relations;

It's so frustrating to see FL is crying over the past three weeks ..As per a guy from makers the more FL cries the higher the numbers.. I think makers have highly mistaken.. The current track neither brought interest nor it increased numbers.

Have skipped v*** parts ..Because the character itself so cringe..

I hope sai stops feeling sorry for herself that crying buckets .because this a*hole truly doesn't deserve that. He is not worth wasting precious tears.. Sai bai proved how to be true towards work .She didn't let her personal grudges come between work.. Though I agree with neerja ..One can't give their 100 per cent if he is emotionally drained.. Pulkit is disturbed hurt how will he give his best shot when it the question of someone's life..

Virat has turned into everything just a lie.. He neither respected his job nor his marriage... I will be the happiest one when Sai finally gets out of Virat's emotional clutches..

Not that I say we should expect any consistency or logical from this show, but how determined and strong Sai has turned out post the heart break should not lead to a suicide. KJ’s death had broken her and she had lost the will to live, here she is more determined and focused on her goal.

I agree. She is much stronger now. However to justify her absence this could be a possibility. However sad it is. And considering the kind of most idiotic and pathetic tracks they prefer over sensible ones... 😔

And Virat seems to be apologetic and contemplative of his actions 'only' when Sai is in hospital 😒
