I dont follow actors on SM. So my only source of info is this forum. I’m not sure if there is any other show where off screen is talked about so much. Everyone is bound to have a personal life, this is only their profession. So they are free to do what they want to. But what makes it so negative? Audience is the same right? Why is the off screen antics, politics so much talked about than the show itself? Does the show garner trp or all this off screen nonsense?
I dont know what went wrong and what had led to this, but plain simple, the show has lost its plot, its lustre. People who have watched it since the beginning can clearly see the stark difference. The lack of chemistry and discomfort with certain scenes, where was this earlier? We have seen them perform to such scenes earlier and saw that chemistry and comfort, what had led to this change now?
If you are comfortable dont show it, dont make a mockery of the show and the audience.

Reducing the ML and FL to mere dimwits and giving prominence to the second lead, promoting EMA, infidelity, mental harassment, making a joke of professions like IPS, abuse, crime. What are they even trying to show? Can they just sit back and figure out what is the objective rather than just playing “ghar ghar” randomly on the sets.

Much worse shows should've been shut shop for the kid of nonsense they showed.

A much more famous show was shut down due to fans around 10yrs ago, as ML was quitting & PH planned on killing the character.

I have one more example my dear..

When sm wasn't that much used..but one show by Vanker and the producer Rajesh got shut due to fan's protest

I am sure producer remembers it because he was the director of that show.. It didn't end there but the entire PH got wind up because of high loss

However, the parent company of the channel that airs this show is the BIGGEST entertainment company in the world. They have Harvey Specter-esque lawyers sitting in LA ready to deal with any of this and would not even let Star Plus air such content.

yes it was a Sony show & it was produced by the same producers as DABH. Those who really saw the show properly didn't have objections with the content - only the misled online audience had issues with it, who saw tidbits or few clippings here & there. None of my friends or family members who watched the show found it regressive or was promoting anything anyways - I don't want this topic to be locked just because of talking about another show.

ORMAX doesn't really affect anyone much in ITV, unless its a webseries - channels are not dependent on online ratings for their shows, its just a bonus for them. If a show tops on ORMAX but is a disaster on the TV, SP wouldn't hesitate to scrap the show within few months either. SP is the channel which gives very little leeway to shows with low TRP ratings.

I am sorry I don't know which show it is as I haven't watched many. I know of shows where fans protested in front of PH & channel's office in 2000's, other than that - I have watched or followed only selective shows.

It was around 2013/14 I don't remember the exact year .i was following that show for sometimes but left due never ending toxicity

It's the same PH I think Mitali got her first lead role

Only feels bad for ayesha ,if cast and crew want to play best friends unite virakhi make sai a strong female lead who is willing to leave virat take a leap bring a good actor( professional one) and once again her journey from a heartbreak her career her future.Trp will be high and offscreen couple also happy and can enjoy themselves in their home making reels
