Actually I might watch GC ki Sai and aaba scenes, best portrayal of dad daughter scenes. I loved aai Sai relationship too, it was better explored in Ghum than even Tamil version.

He knew if he looked at sai he will break down. He knew it will be difficult for him to let go of sai.
he was hurt with what happened, he actually dint cared about sai reveal to neighbors all he knew his trust was broken and sai broke it.
just wear his shoes what he is going through, he chose his family coz he cares about tai, he was shocked coz he couldn’t take this that tai needs protection from his own brother he said too.

Not that he believed the letter in one go, he was manipulated to believe, he doesn’t even know what has happened when he wanst there, and then when he came back the day he wanted to make special for sai and himself he got the shocker of life.
