Totally understandable and thats why I hate the CVs for making Virat call at the right (wrong) time so that he doesn't get any information -

- She was kind of in the middle of a mission to find Pulkit, Madhuri was waiting outside and has some information where she has to leave right away. Also from precap, looked like Milind was also waiting to follow Ninad-Omi.

- Even if she wants to, she can't as Aai specifically told her not to share, plus she also thought he might breakdown and return asap. Unlike Pakhi who blurted about Samrat when he was all alone and broken, she stopped herself from sharing this info in the call earlier. This itself shows how much Sai thinks about Virat and his feelings.

- It was also to show Virat that there is something going on, which Sai is involved in, she is distracted/ in a dilemma to share/ not share with him

- Any other time they would have had to show Sai share info, but now she can't, so it was kind of perfect time for makers to have Sai-Virat conversation.

I can fully a understand Sai's distraction and empathize with her. Heck, I can't hold a conversation either direct or on phone even with someone I am most attached to if I am stressed about something. On the other hand, sai had had to take into consideration every minute she was being delayed from chasing down her evil FILs, besides all the anxiety and stress piling up on her for past few days owing to all the drama surrounding devkit.
