If he can have soft corner for Pakhi, why isn’t Sai allowed to have soft corner for any other man? If this isn’t misogyny, what is? His father can raise his hands on Sai and get away with little rebuttal, If this isn’t misogyny, what is? He is allowed to go on trips with his bhabi (alone), but she faces domestic violence for lunch with professor, If this isn’t misogyny, what is?

Valid points raised.. When they were going on a trip, It was not Virat who brought in Sai but his AAi.. He just got convinced with the idea.. However Sai going out on a lunch with an unknown man cannot be compared to Virat going with Pakhi who is known to everyone including Virat and Aayi.. The issue with Virat is that he wants Sai to have a trust on him when it comes to Pakhi..showing his concern soft corner for her all the time, however when it comes to Sai thats not acceptable.

Disagree, Pakhi is a known character for Virat but Sai doesn’t know her much, Pulkit was a known chapter for Sai and Virat didn’t know him.

I am talking about it from family's perspective..Aayi knows pakhi..Aayi did not know Pulkit then..For both Virat and AAyi Pulkit was a faceless professor.. VIrat and Aayi were not wrong in stopping her from going to a professor's place for lunch alone.. Everyday we happen to hear so much about women being molested.. Sai is new to this place young and alone.. Going to a professor's place alone might have repercussions if you think it from Virat or Aayi's perspective. Atleast in the other case Sayi knew who Pakhi is ..also Aayi knew who Pakhi is and what is capable off. I am not justifying the act of them going together..However Sai going on a lunch with an unknown professor was something that was a cause of concern from her safety's perspective...

so you're comparing - a family member accompanying husband, to a wife accompanying a stranger to her husband ?

Everyone knows Pakhi in the household, does even a single banda know about "PD sir" ? If Sai said PD sir to Devi, even she wouldn't have known who that PD is. It could be even "Pakoda Dosa", "Paneer Dosa", if ones chooses to have liberty - when one doesn't disclose even the name of the person.

And when did Virat prohibit Sai having soft-corner for another person ? All he wanted to know was details about the person, I'm not supporting the way he conducted himself but the question was a common one in most households.

My mom used to pose tons of questions, when I used to go to a stranger's house as well - even though I'm a boy, parents will be parents.

Virat's reactions to Aniket and to some extent Amey's issue were something I could not relate to...specially the way he reacted to Aniket. He can keep talking about how Sai should befriend Pakhi and keep giving explanations to Pakhi on why there was a lipstick mark ,..or why he got roses, but Sai could not mention a guy in college who is a good singer and his voice reconnected her to her dance.

Aprt from this I agree to your points.. Sai appeared during the lunch issue, that she doesnt even know what is PD sir's actual name. She insisted on going alone.. Did not want to give any details on where she was going. Think from Virat's perspective how would he have traced her down , if something wrong happened. We know Pulkit is a good guy so we are fine with it, but if he was not and still Sai pulled the same stunt. Sai wanting to go for a lunch at her professor's house alone without even giving a proper name and the address of the person concerned was wrong on so many levels.

Lunch case mein sai kuch instigator thi , she was d one who instigated d fight with nahi bataungi attitude , Sunday ko professor ko ghar ja rahi ho , aur ye bhi batana zaruri nhi kyu ja rahi ho , upar se keh rahi padhai ke liye nhi ja rahi hoon.

Aapke parents puchenge ki aapko allow nhi karenge jabtak aap unhe reason nhi bata dete . Aapne parents ko kya kahoge.

R we seeing d same show ?

When did virat wanted to go alone on d trip with pakhi , if I saw right he was d one who asked sai to join in .

I guess virat cleared it what he think of pakhi , he cleared his intension . Isse jyada clearly virat nhi bol payega.

Virat pe point karte waqt sai ke karname kyu bhul jaate ho .

Why give free pass to sai . Virat ne apologize bhi kar liya what about sai ?

If we are speaking of lunch. Then ,yes,Virats reaction was wrong that day,but the action which caused that reaction that day was also wrong,if not equally, but still it was.

Cuz even as the daughter of a police officer ,she had to endure so much trouble from jagtap,so will it be okay for her to go to a unknown man's house in an almost unknown city.

And even that day,why he did not have the idea of Sai going with them ,don't know of that. But I guess his motive was also not to accompany didi on a jolly trip . We had been shown that he was emotionally quite vulnerable thinking of Samrat ,since past few days. So a lead on his jeeva was maybe what he could only see,but not didi. Banda bohot emotionally hoke sochta hai.And he is very innocent, sabki baaton mein jaldi aa jaata hai aur vaada de deta hai maa da ladla.

Arney & Aniket issues were jealousy 😆 When a person is jealous, he/she loses control over oneself.

Totally agree with your POV 👍🏼

OP needs to view the issues not as a spectator but as a character from the show. As a spectator we get to see shades of all the characters but as a character they don't.
