But lil mean of me to say it , if this is how ghkkpm is going to pan out then the offscreen pair might be the happiest to get more screen time.

Who will take care of Emon when she is depressed? Would it have been with Rono ok if her colleague cum friend took care of her because Emon lives alone? Only because Emon was a tough nut to crack, grew strong did she survive alone, dedicate her life to her work.

But after all these, they show Rono amd Roopkotha as victims 😂😂

Everyone in the family regret their behavior, feel apologetic to have accused Rono of having an affair with Roopkotha. I don't deny that they were misunderstood but it was because of Roopkotha all this started and Rono's take it for granted attitude towards Emon.

Whatever reasons Rono had, jus one simple question, if there was a role reversal, if Sai took care of her ex/brother in law would it have been ok with Rono?

Whatever emotional torture Virat is going through now that we feel bad that Sai isn't loving him or understanding him or trusting him, can it be compared to what Emon would go through when he keeps supporting two new women in his life even though he was always loyal? If we feel bad for Virat now, not sure how we are going to feel when Sai might go through in the future if they follow the same track as that of KD. Issey accha they can end the show after they get united.

I just don't want Virat to turn into that Rono.

This is the biggest problem with ITV shows. The stories are infinite, so they don't turn out well after sometime around 100 or 150 episodes. Then to keep the show going we have dead back to life, evil twin coming, pointless third love angle coming, illegitimate child coming etc etc....

If we had finite stories, they would have proper stories, proper climax and a proper ending without the out of the world masala. I loved the shows like "Mahi Way", "seven", "Rishta.com" on Sony, don't know why they didn't come back with more such shows!!

Ruining characters and the story to continue the show is dumb. The same production house can come up with new stories and fresh ideas, but they like to drag the stories and the audiences with it!

I don’t want to compare but KRPKAB also only had 388 episodes and wasn’t dragged unnecessarily. Plus the second season was fresh and only 26.. that’s why it’s one of the best ITV shows of modern times..

I would want ghum to follow something like this and not drag on for ages...

KD had all these cliche 3rd angle plots over and over. Infact with time, the 3rd angle broke rono-imon apart quicker than in the beginning. Thats just silly. You'd think that the bond of a husband-wife would get stronger with time. Shruti came between them TWICE! The second time it was DESPITE rono acknowledging to imon in their reconcilation that shruti had feelings for him. he knew how imon felt about her. Still she got in between. And whats worse is he got in fights with his pregnant wife. Its one thing to be duty bound to help shruti but another to bring everyone home to live with him and act as if he their husband. He did it once for imon but after hes officially married he cant keep on repeating the same thing! Especially when he can see it disrupta his own life.

And then after shruti, they showed roopkptha again come between them! And again rono was SO insensitive. He literally ignores Imon's pain and gives her this rubbish about being a team. Imon sees him literally hugging roopkotha making false promises to her because shes depressed and rono claims his actions are all only out of duty abd coz the doctor said to keep her stress free. Its utter crap.

I really hope that ghkpm doesn't mindlessly copy these things.

They can show angst and separation because its ITV and they love to show "separation" drama but i really hope that the situations, treatment and dialogues are more logical than KD.

Insensitive is what it looks like.

About Roopkotha plot, they have more reasons now to lengthen that part. We are already watching where their creativity lies in, just imagine how would it be showed in this plot.

As you said he brings Shruti home the second time. Makes no sense. Would it be okay if Emon instead of just treating Jagtap brought him home to give medical treatment at home too? We start to hate characters.

As you have said, we expect their relationship to strengthen but sadly even before they could do that they keep bringing a 3rd angle.

They even bond and talk to each other about what went wrong in their relationship and even after all that, they kept bringing a separation track. I might most probably stop watching if they bring such 3rd angles.

If they are bringing one, why not for Sai too? Let there be a parallel, Virat might atleast realize what he is doing.

The actors should fit into the characters in the story. The story shouldn’t be written to fit the actor. ( I feel this every time I see unnecessary and repetitive scenes)

Theres another ridiculous plot at some point in KD about imon fighting with rono to treat gogna (jagtap) because doctors dharam and hippocratic oath n all that.

As a doctor myself i know that while its important that we treat people including criminals equally, no doctor would be obliged to treat someone that mqy have a actually kidnapped/assaulted them in the past 🙄 Even if the doctor wanted to, they couldnt be impartial with someone that has personally wronged them.

so its a pointless discussion.

But in KD theres a few episodes of fighting where imon insists that she will not give up treating gogna because its her "profession" and rono stands against it. And gogna ofcourse change of heart.

Its completely ridiculous.

Yep yep!! Movies also actors accommodate to script not the other way around!!

Why is it that some actors think it’s okay to change the script because of personal dynamics.. it’s not like ITV has kissing scenes or other kind of scenes that foreign shows do.. it’s very minimal romance as compared to foreign shows.. so what’s the problem if your SO hugs his/her onscreen wife/husband. It’s the job.

SRK wouldn’t have been king of romance if he objected to every romantic scene just cause he is married and has kids..

If that is the issue then I’m sorry acting isn’t for you!! It’s not real life, it’s acting!!
