I totally agree i saw the tamil version of this scene and neil was excellent here than that actor every pain guilt remorse repent was spoken through his eyes and voice modulation damn he is living the soul of virat,he is virat

the only complaint i have with him he needs a good sleep,he is so tired but he did not let it affect his performance

The scene was really sweet and Neil-Ayesha did a good job. I don't understand why people are finding a fault with it. May be because of the editing. Also everything felt a little rushed. They showed so much drama for a week and then wrapped up the apology part in an episode. That was kind of unfair. But still the scene was beautiful.

This is his wife, someone he subconsciously loves, threatening to leave him forever, the body language should’ve been like that of a lover in pain, instead it was that of a caretaker losing his/her job.

LOL....Not sure about the acting but that description was somewhat accurate 😆

But I do reckon it was shoddy writing and execution. The flow was strange. They went from an an overdramatic hand on head to take a kasam moment, to Virat strangely leaving the scene with tears, then smiling and coming back to talk about what to feed Sai, then back to both crying and wiping tears when we thought all the crying was done with. And then suddenly scene jumped to candy floss and them acting as if kuch hua hee nahi. If anything, the last few days drama warranted Virat getting on his knees and begging for forgiveness, that too in front of the entire Chavani parivaar. But alas, it only took some random crying and him saying he didn't eat lunch for Sai to forgive him 🤔

I have a different opinion. Though I haven't seen today's episode, I will watch it on t.v. but judging by what I have seen till now, I can say that Neil is a wonderful actor. He is a natural. Though Ayesha needs improvement. But as far as characters are concerned, I like Sai's character more than Virat. Virat's unreasonable behaviour at times forces me to quit watching the show but Sai stops me every time.

Edit: watching the episode right now. And I find this scene perfect. Both Neil and Ayesha were perfect in that scene.

thank you for saying this ... i was searching the forum for one topic where I can post my views on how bad the actor, Neil was in emotional scenes ... it fell apart ... there was no pull , no gravity in those emotions of guilt and remorse,... he totally lacked the conviction and instinct in emotional scenes .

it looked more like two kinder kids fought over a pencil box and are reconciling ... like Sai said why bewakoofon ki tarah rona or something, I felt that during entire scene, execution, act , dialogue delivery, body language ...

An actor's real test is emotional scenes and he fell apart badly ... however the char is, we can see the difference when an actor plays the char with conviction and without conviction

Normally,I do like Neil's acting but today it was not good. Also, as everyone highlighted it was bad editing too. One scene which was really jagged was when he says he will think what food to get for her..it felt like overacting at that point of time, the way he was bouncy suddenly, and then the abrupt change to them talking abt abba. I was really very hopeful abt today's episode..given they are know to be good actors and KD's sequence was so intense and impactful. In KD, you could see that the ML was really apologetic, and their physical chemistry was also more pronounced, as well as when he cries bitterly, the vulnerability comes through. Here, all these were missing. I just liked when his vulnerability comes through when he says I want you to consider me as your family. But again, it ended so abruptly that it was weird. Some scene he was crying, and then suddenly he was not- which made the whole thing a bit uneven.

Sometimes I feel Ayesha goes a bit high pitched, but today she was perfect, although not as angry as Emon was in KD. They just have to copy KD, and this scene was already beautifully written, but I guess they failed to execute it properly. If they had translated it word by word too, it would have been great! Alas, missed opportunity to establish the vulnerable side of Virat, and how much is he impacted by Sai!

Actually, in this scene sai was supposed to walk from here to there and there to here delivering dialogues and virat stops her by blocking her way and goes behind her saying sorry. It was Ayesha was injured whole scene was shot in one standing position. So virat didn't get to do all of those actions. Expressions were on point. Loved it. But i wish ayesha was not injured then the scene would have been a little more better. Over all it was a beautiful episode.

It id the director's job to get the actor to do his best.

The director has to explain rk tear drop half inch of a smile one cm to the left etc

Writing and execution not just performance

It's a team effort

Now don't tell me censor board has a say in SaiRat scenes

I think it's nothing to do with acting...the whole scene was badly executed....it looked somehow disconnected ...something was missing.... they weren't look like husband wife at all...crying and wiping tears keeping one meter distance really .....Something wrong with creative team and director....
