One more thing I would like to add to this conversation though a little off topic.
Why is it we always demean an outspoken woman like sai?
Is it a crime. Just because she is 18 does not mean in any way that she HAS to give respect to everyone around her especially those who constantly name call her, calling her jungli mulgi, akad, batameez, mufat, immature, etc. isn't that hurtful for any human being.
there is this quote- Respect is for those who deserve it, not for those who demand it..
I would not be against pakhis character and would probably even sympathize with her IF she stood up against kaku and gang and called out their toxic behavior. Being a woman herself how does she think this is right?
We earn respect by our own doing not by age.
Pakhi legit is two-faced, she will never dare to open her mouth against the elders in the house because she wants that place that throne of being the best daughter-in-law. she schools karishma on entering her room without knocking but will enter a husband and wife's private space without even thinking twice!?
Has anyone ever tried to sympathize with Sai (not even asking for empathy). the girl had just lost her father. The same man who gave up his life for the "chaheeta" beta of the chavans, that sacrifice was brushed off, kaku literally said tumne uss shahdad ka karz isse shaadi karke utara, like wow.
Pakhi could have actually mentored Sai, yes sai denied virat to give the responsibility of guiding her to pakhi ( and i am glad she did, cause pakhi is not at all mature), but if only Pakhi were to place herself in the shoes of Sai would she ever understand. Sai has no one, no one.
So anyone who defends pakhi as a CHARACTER for being susheel, dignified, always trying to sort people's fights, etc. is wrong because pakhi is not like that. We are not blind.
Acceptance is the greatest gift one can give themselves and there is nothing wrong with playing a negative character.
not comparing again but Heath Ledger won an Oscar for his performance as the joker in the batman movie, why because the way he played it is so so iconic that no one can match up to his level.
Every human is flawed, I am too, but I accept it with grace.
The problem is in the delusion of the fact that pakhi is a positive character and is always trying to do the right thing. If Aishwarya is to accept her character the way she is, I will be the first one to applaud her, trust me.
I have nothing against her as a human and a person, in fact, I love her BTS videos, she seems really fun to be around, it's the delusion for a fictional character that she has made up which gets to me all the time.
