Good morning Sisterhood! 🌞🌻🌼

Mubarak ho! Mirchi pis gayi 🌶️🌶️🌶️

As a fierce lover of Sai, I absolutely loved that Sarpakhi got a taste of her own venom and cried the tears. I also liked how she went through the entire grind and it was Virat's comment that had her take up the challenge and the best part is that the whole double standard of the family (and Serpokhi) about the incident stands exposed and Kaku's shock that Virat "apologised" to Sai on their behalf when they were not even sorry 😂😂

So my hunch was right -- it was indeed Virat who quite directly challenged Despokhi to display her maturity of chilli grinding by questioning the gyaan she was giving out for free. But mirchi se jyada jalan aaj barf se huyi, Aai shappat! 😑😑 Sai, "Aap Kisi bhi Ladki se flirt Kar Sakte Hain, mujhe fark Nahi padega," are you sure? 😆 I think I liked that you tried to remind yourself why you were burning at the sight of the "samjhaute" wala husband applying ice to his "bade Bhai ki wife" -- wo toh itna important reminder tha bhare poore zillat arena mein. The consolation was that Virat took the reminder of the rishteydaari very sportingly but Sarplekha ko toh apna hi zeher nigalna pada. But if it wasn't for Virat, this sil-batta scene wouldn't have happened because everyone would have turned it into a big fight of egos.

"Barf lekar aao" left Sai stunned for a moment but honestly, her hesitation to bring the ice surprised me. Because that is what I expected of him as a viewer in the end. And no, he's not in love with Sarpakhi nor did he feel the same kind of hurt that he personally felt when Sai was made to grind the paste that could be enough for the whole village. This woman's hands burnt in 1.47 minutes (yes, that's the golden number now 😂😂) and then she needed the 1.47 hours wala yoga lover to lift her up.

Honestly, I liked the sequence and I also liked Virat standing up against it in the end. Because if he didn't stand up today, it wouldn't be right. It just wouldn't. No, I am not fence sitting. I was rooting for the chilli grinding payback the day this entire Makad Sena led by this vile Chipakhini decided to mob lynch the dewdrop but when it actually came, I wished it hadn't happened this way. There has been so much discussed about Virat in the last few days that I need a break from that Chavan prince or I will 'disconnect' from my Alexa 😂

So, I want to talk about Sai and hear what people have to say. At the fear of seeming like am taking a U-turn, I want to ask a question, may be more: Why did Sai want Sarplekha to grind the chillies on the silbatta? Did she really want eye-for-an-eye? Why not any other kind of punishment? Isn't it true that she did only it for teaching her a (much deserved) lesson? But when we want to do that, don't we end up crossing over to the side of the person who we think wronged us in the first place? Did she get carried away by her anger/frustration/grudge? Is my dewdrop actually holding grudges? Can't she see how she owned the argument and even her bedroom even though she walked out of it that night?

The fact that it was Sai who also moved in to ask Sarpakhi to stop vis-a-vis the display of maturity and compassion that Yog-nagini had put up on the day of mahabhoj, even when Virat had come to stop the torture on Sai, the difference between the two women is evident. But I genuinely liked how he offered the first aid and also the apology as a "team". His, "Sai aur meri taraf se... We are sorry," was already so loud that one doesn't even need to question why he wanted to apply that ice.

But, I am also readily collecting the chappals in pairs and with heels if possible --and they are strictly non-returnable because I will throw them at the Sahayak Police Aayukt (ACP in Marathi, not Police Up Aayukt) when the need arises very soon. Buyback policy for chappals is temporarily suspended because their use is foreseen shortly. But not today😅 Today, I agree with Virat. And I did not think he was "siding" with Sarpkahi or "feeling" her pain. He was being human, compassionate and morally right -- exactly what no one else in the mahabhoj wanted to be.

First, was it such a big deal if she ground the masalas? No. If that is indeed the custom of the house to be grinding masalas, then it is only right that Jali Huyi Didi was told to grind chillies on the silbatta as per the custom) preference of the family explained earlier. So, there is absolutely no issue with the fact that Sarpakhi ground the chillies per se and Sai assigned her the task. It totally served her right and she turned it into a drama with her tears --exactly what she accused Sai of doing. The point is driven home. But the point also is, why should any woman have to do it? And most of all, why should Sai (the good) do it to Sarpakhi (the serpent)? There is an essential difference between the good and the bad. Did Sai cross the line between good and bad?- No, but she came close if she did it out of any hint of grudge and honestly I do think she had a bit of a grudge. It was strong enough to remind "Virat Sir ke bade Bhai ki wife" lessons in compassion. Because intentions matter the most and she did not mean as much harm as the need for payback and one-upmanship. But why the direct mirchi for mirchi and not the saanp bhi mar Jaye and laathi bhi na toote approach?

I am glad that the makers did not fall for the popular demand on this one in regard to Virat's stand. His reaction, just like the one at Sai's breakfast or Sai's fever scene, was understandable. Virat is not vengeful by nature -- he did not even raise a hand at Jagtap after Kamal Joshi was killed by the bullet that Jagtap had fired to kill him. He only held Jagtap by the collar and said, I will see that law takes its course. He disapproved the Amey issue because Sai took law into her hands and went crazy because of his feelings but in principle he was right. He would have handled Amey.

Now, I know where he comes from. He is someone who'd let a thousand accused go unpunished instead of punishing one innocent person -- that, by the way, is the principal of criminal justice in India and anyone dealing with law -- as an enforcer or defender-- will abide by. What's even more important is the fact that he is an IPS officer. And -- a very BIG AND -- two wrongs actually do not make a right. It is a fact that if someone has been unjust or dishonest, acting exactly the way they did has no justification. And kyunki real me bhi lock up me itna hi torture karte hain ki aansuon ki baarish ho jaaye but nishan magistrate ko dikhayi na de 😂😅😂

Virat is non-partisan when he witnesses "physical torture" because of his value system and also training. I am glad he lived up to it. I know, the next question in our minds (mine too) is that he's been blindly turning away from the 'mental torture' his mother and wife are going through. But well, it is a fact that verbal abuse and the resulting mental torture are invisible and subject to manipulation -- he is mostly manipulated over things he doesn't witness (Serpokhi's taunts not included in this excuse). But he did not give in to the attempted manipulation by the family today. Even if Sai wasn't the one to instruct Serpokhi, he would have still disapproved of the act. I am actually glad he did because it has come simultaneously as he has now begun opening up to the idea that his family can do things beyond his "yakeen" factor. And, he did take note of the way the entire Makad Sena was sweating at the prospect of having their chaheeti bahu go through the grind, the reference to Usha not being allowed to help Sai on that day. Virat has freshly begun waking up to the 'yakeen Nahi aata' factor and he knows Sai was denied breakfast for not doing her work -- with Serpokhi in full support of the disgusting act-- and it had left him mortified enough to tell her in clear words not to step into the kitchen in the morning and he would handle it. So, now, if he has offered to intervene in the situation and try to resolve matters, this tit-for-tat is not going to go down with an applause. Still, Chavan Saheb, thank you for making my hunch come true 😂😂😂 but I have had enough of you for now 😝

I said in some fun post yesterday that he'd better behave like Virat Chavan or Sai's navra and not as Ninad's son. I am glad he behaved like Virat Chavan but it wasn't "wo wala Virat jisse (SaanpDidi) Nashik me Mili thi"... It was Virat Chavan trying to ensure that his wife doesn't end up becoming a victim of another torture by this Makad Sena in his absence because he now knows they are ganging up on her in ways which to him are now 'yakeen Nahi aa Raha'. Also, this sudden shot played by the wife was not expected: why do you want to go to the kitchen when I told you not to. But Biwi wanted the run! -- I used a cricket analogy yesterday and I will add one more to explain -- the two of them play their own shots and approach the same kind of ball in two ways. Sai is aggressive -- like Yuvraj Singh, Virat is Rahul Dravid (in all ways😅). So it's like a miscommunication while running between the wickets -- Sai is calling for the run but Virat thinks there is no run there and he was right because there could have been a run out at one end and they would have lost a wicket when it could have been avoided. So, he answered the call for the run but aborted it and sent her also back to the line.😆

Also, he would not like Sai 'to start' a tamasha -- that is for sure and he will continue to restrain her when she borders too close to crossing the danger line because he is really exasperated of this kitchen drama and wants to take a stand to end the escalation for himself and Sai. So long as she doesn't cross the line, he is fine.(**continuing reference later below)

They are a team even when they have differences and he's on an indefeasible duty for her -- it shows in his apology on her behalf. Sai did not like the apology but he reminded her that she was 'his' and he was apologising on her behalf just as he apologised on 'his family's' behalf to her. Ab basically samajhdaar ko ishara kaafi hai -- SaanpDidi toh na iss side ki rahi na uss side ki... And in her attempt to make herself the perfect moorat (moorakh) chaheeti bahu, she has totally moved out even of the circle of friendzone with her imaginary husband😅 Waise, Didi ko consolation mein baraf to mil hi gayi and "You take care of yourself" wala emotion bhi from imaginary husband 😂😂

The beauty of the story of Sai and Virat is that they have the same values as human beings but they are so distinct in their approach to things. They have these differences that almost cannot even have a middle path because it's either his way or hers. And one of them has to give in.

But there will be a time when they will find a reason to find a middle ground, where you consider the consequences of your actions on the other half of your unit. It applies to both -- Virat spoke of it in anger about how she doesn't think that her actions have repercussions that he has to bear but it's also true vice versa -- she has to bear the consequences of his silence and inaction towards people who are waiting to maul her -- they maul her when she's alone without him and he knows. And all they need is that one indication of indifference from him and she's dragged to the humiliating slaughter.

And no, having said that, he definitely does not have romantic feelings for the Yog-Nagini (otherwise, he would have had at least one flashback of the 1.47 hours wala flashback since his marriage to Sai)... He unhesitatingly acknowledges that he belongs to Sai. The pain he felt at Sai's humiliation at the Mahabhoj or at the breakfast table was not present for Sarpakhi here. He was annoyed and embarrassed and he expects better work from Sai because like Sai says, "Virat Sir kisi ko dukh nahi pohcha sakte", he also feels, "Sai kisi ko dukh nahi de sakti... Tum sabse alag ho, Sai." That 'sabse alag' is also what makes her irresistible for him.

Like Ashwini has raised Virat with those values, he also believes tha Sai is taking ahead the values she got from Kamal Sir. I don't think it would fit his character to actually delight in seeing anyone in pain. He would have reacted like this even if the Akkad bakkad had turned the other way and Karishma would have been the one sweating and crying over the chillies. He would have applied ice to his "chhote Bhai ki wife" also 😂😂😂. Sabse jyada thandak toh Kaku ko lagi. I also appreciate Ashwini's head nod asking Sai to bring the ice because they are not made of the immoral fibre that would allow rubbing insult to injury the way this entire Makad Sena did with Sai.

It wasn't about SaanpDidi at all but then because she is the 'wife' of his missing Jeeva and has been dropping threats of leaving the house at the drop of a hat, he has to do this damage control. He would definitely not want this Despokhi to throw another desperate going away to maika and have her blame Sai for it.

Plus, he has promised her that he will ensure no one treats her badly in the house in her husband's absence and of all people -- it's Sai! And, of course, with every ounce of his being he considers the woman as a 'friend' and wishes her well. He couldn't have joined in this celebration. This change in the reaction was much better and in line with the character and it reminded me that sometimes the joy lies in not knowing the story 😅

But I am reserving chappals because, unlike in case of the manipulation by "Dil Ke acche Ghar ke bade", he can see, feel and hear SaanpDidi's venomous interfering in Sai's private space. The last few interactions with her have made it clear to him that she doesn't mean well for Sai or for any family member who doesn't side with her. That realisation is not so weak.

(**Continuing from the para above) He needs to open his mouth ASAP and articulate the boundaries. If he can be so firm and loyal to his promise of being there for his best friend, who is spewing venom, then standing up for his wife's honour is his first freaking duty. The zeal with which he corrects Sai and begins his pravachans, he must apply the same unbiased enthusiasm to keep his '1.47 hours wala ghost love' out of the space he shares with Sai. There cannot be any other way on that one. Whether he loves Sai or not, Yog-nagini has no business to demonstrate her zeher-laced yoga poses in the bedroom of another couple. And talking about bedrooms, whatever be the compulsion, he must not visit SaanpDidi in her bedroom unless she needs to be saved from the clutches of evident death and everyone else in that house has given up- only then. So, chappals are in stock and more welcome -- I am collecting them. I am looking forward to Ashwini having a plain talk with her son without calling him 'Godu' if he's found in that zeher ki gufa with the been bajane wali Naagin. Chappals will freely fly.

I liked the episode. Virat's support to Sai was silent -- some might call it fickle but it was strong-- but it restored the pride that they wanted to take away from her. But he also held Sai firmly back from crossing over to the same side as those who mean harm to her. She wouldn't have crossed it knowingly but Virat pulled her back in time. He also walked out of the scene telling her to hurry up and Kaku to "end the drama for the day" 😅😂😂😂

For BA-MA-KAKUS and the Makad Mandali: '

"Ladies who play with fire (of the chillies) must remember that smoke gets in their eyes."

For Sai: What sets you apart can sometimes feel like a burden and it's not. And a lot of the time, it's what makes you great (Emma Stone)

Sai, tum sabse alag ho... Lekin ek baat toh hai... Tumhe fark padta hai 😅. So next time before handing out the license to your navra, Shaant dimaag se das Baar sochna... Is mamle mein I doubt you will understand ek Baar me as you claim 💞

Aaj ka vishleshan yahin samapth hota hai. If you don't want to throw chappals at me, keep them in your hand ready to fling when the need arises. Main awaaz lagaungi!

Tab tak take a warm mug of coffee ☕☕☕ and tea 🍵🍵🍵 for those please.

If there is any unresolved grudge in your heart today, don't bury it and don't let it fester -- narrate it, but turning to a fresh page of your own story book. Write it down from the start and change the ending in your heart 💓

Hugs 🤗🤗🤗 love 💕❤️ and aaj toh 😘😘😘 bhi. Pata Nahi Kyun, I am feeling very happy after seeing today's episode.

Love your analysis Janki. I truly feel the same about Virat today.

The only problem is see from this intrinsic caring behavior is the fact that both women involved will put a different spiel on it, unfortunately for him.

Sai will be convinced that he still loves Pakhi & so will Pakhi. It gets complicated!

Amazing read as always❤️ But my only question is why couldn't he ask any of the women to put ice on her hand? If it was him, Sai, and Pakhi then I would have understood him applying it on her because Pakhi didi would rather have her hands burnt than getting any form of relief from Sai.

Idk if he would have done the same if Karishma was in Pakhi's shoes. I think he would have let the family handle the situation. I might just be overthinking because we as viewers know of Pakhi's inner feelings, while Virat is still unaware.

Ya what i don't understand is why he could have shown concern without applying the ice himself. Or even bettter just gone to work and not stayed back to watch the masala grinding. I think Sai herself did not want pp to get hurt. It was purely to show pp that she should not dish out to people what she cannot tolerate herself. Sai was genuinely asking Pp to let it be and asking usha to help in the end of the scene. It would have been better if they had ended the scene with Sai stopping pp from hurting herself further and no virat pp scene. But these CVs seem to love giving us unwanted unnecessary Virat pp scenes. smiley7

@bold 🤣

Great Post.

I loved the episode today. It was Sai, Sai and just Sai. She was the hero of the day. 👏

There was a new confidence in her since yesterday's episode that no one from Kaku's gang could handle her logical and witty questions. They had no comeback. She told them exactly what they told her and uska kya jawab denge yeh log, itna dimag nahi hai.

I don't know if its her anger or Virat's shouting over 2-3 days that brought about this change in her, but she was more confident that she ever was. Uska har shot sixer tha 😆.

Only time she showed her hurt was when Virat openly showed his concern on PP. Though it wasn't romantic, though she knew they were a thing, it still hurt her.

You title is apt at this scene , Aaj masale bhale bhi Pakhi ne pissa , par jali toh Sai ko hai.

So was it worth it ? I would say Yes.

Sai set to prove her point and she did. I don't know if Virat understood Sai and deliberately prodded Pakhi to grind or if he really didn't know that Pakhi would be hurt . There was no reason for him to come to kitchen and see, so I have a feeling he knew what will happen and he wanted to do damage control. But isi bahane Pakhi didi ko khushi hui hogi Virat ne haat toh pakda.

He told her openly in front of everyone why are you cooking when I specifically told you not to work today as you are unwell. And also to finish her work fast so that thye can leave together. So offscreen he would have dropped her to college 😆.

Wish he asked Sai to apply ice, but knowing Pakhi, if there was anyone who could have handled her at that time, it was Virat.

Since I am so happy and impressed with Sai today, I am not going to nitpick on Virat and let him be 😆.

He behaved exactly the same way with both women. I dont see the gesture as "romantic" but its one of concern and affection. And he treated both women exactly the same. But as a viewer i want to see the dynamics change unconsciously. I want him to see him physically and emotionally distance himself from this 2-day ex lover. Does not mean he should violate his character traits and become this rude, uncaring jerk but there are many ways that they could have handled this scene rather than show Virat -pp moment. Sai obviously is affected by his closeness to pp and all these actions will only make her maintain her distance.

And it bothered me that Virat said absolutely nothing when Sai was being taunted as "being pagal" , come from pagalkhaana not GC, should be in a mental asylum. He is so quick to reprimand Sai even in private just for imitating pp in jest saying "pp ke baare mein koi mazaak nahi" aur yahaan par they kept referring to Sai as "mentally ill" and pagal. This despite the fact that after having Devi around, they should be all be more sensitive to mental illness but they are using it as an insult and Virat just silently watched his wife get insulted.

I haven't read your analysis yet as I wanted to share mine first . My heart is at war with my mind. I didn't like Virat supporting Pakhi and later applying ice . He reacted the same way he did when Sai was hurt. I wanted to see some difference in how he treats both of them. In the initial episode, when both Pakhi and Sai complained of a headache, he just handed the medicine to his best friend while he gave a good massage to his wife. I was expecting something of that kind.

my head says what he did is right. What's wrong for Sai is wrong for Pakhi too. He was being mature and sensible. After all, she is his friend and with Samrat missing he might want to support his brother's wife. I am sure he would have done the same for Karishma as well. Until now he has never regretted letting Pakhi gI, his only regret is that her husband left her the next day after marriage because of their past.

I could feel Sai’s pain when she saw Virat applying ice on Pakhi’s hand. I wanted her to bang the ice on his head and leave the kitchen. I want her to confront him and tell him that she didn't like it when he tends to Pakhi didi. For the the first time, I felt he deserved to be rejected by Sai 😕when he proposes to her.

I am angry at Virat but at the same time, I feel for him when he gets bashed left-right, and center.I feel like banging his head yet I don't want him to go through too much pain when Sai will reject him. This is the return gift for yesterday’s jalebi 😂

I had said this in some other post. By apologizing on behalf of Sai he showed everyone that they are one unit. He doesn't do that when Pakhi does a mistake. He thinks of Sai as his own.

I don't support Sai in mission Devi. She is gonna get in trouble and I hate Sherlock homes Atma in female leads.
