Problem ??

I heard that In other versions , Devyani had a love story . She married but was not liked by chavan family and they were seperated and even the child was separated from her .

But what i want to know is .. what problem did they had from him . He was a doctor with good future , he would have taken good care of Devyani .

Was it because he doesn't belong to high social strata in marathi cast system ( since kaku is freaking obsessed with shahan kulin maratha mulgis/ mulgas) .

Or is it because he was poor that tym ??

Or just because it was a love marriage !!?

What was the reason in other versions?

She seems like a control freak so maybe unki nahi chali hogi so she made them break up bc she didnt get to control/decide who Devi marries ...i think this may have been it ...

So called Bade khandaan se belong nahi karta hoga or may be from not rich family.

The Precap says his name is Dr Pulkit Deshpande. He is not a Shahannav Kuli Maratha. That could be one reason. Also Devyani saying he wanted to become a doctor so he wasn't a doctor yet. We don't know what family background.... Also, how old is Devyani? What would be Virat and her age difference?

Virat is around 26-27. Devi may be few years older to him. She may be around 30 i am guessing.

Sai is 18 (ignoring her Nov 13 1996 birthday on paper that would make her 23)

MBBS 5.5 yr + MD 2 yr + assuming 5 year of teaching = around 30 would be good age of Dr. Pulkit.

Does bengali/ tamil versions too had same reason??

I dont know for sure but I think in tamil version he was the son or relative of their servant. Though I am a south indian my tamil is not good.so maybe I misinterpret the dialog.someone correct me if I am wrong

between i was not happy with devi tai..she wanted sai to unite her husband with her but refused to tell his name🤪she is turning out to be smarted than the other c nivasis..is she really mentally disturbed or acting like that?😆

If Devi is around 30, it is likely the tragedy happened to her prolly 10 years ago when she was arnd 20. Virat wld have been arnd 17-18 then, old enough to understand the wrongdoings going on around him if not old enough to oppose his elders. Why does he seem clueless why Devi is like this? And if he knows what happened, how could an upright person like him condone it?

Also Devi said her hubby was studying to be a doc. In just 10 yrs Dr Deshpande cldn’t hv finished his mbbs, practised for some years, did specialisation & become a professor.

I think Devi is meant to be around 35 at least & the Prof 40. So Virat might have been arnd 12 when it all happened. If the CVs have any sense they will have Virat study in a boarding school when the Devi kaand happened. Else it will be hard to explain his silence.
