I was watching the Tamil episodes and there are a lot of good sairat scenes coming up. Vikram ( Virat) stands up for her.

We just need some patience. I hope they create the Tamil version. Chavan Nivas folks are just as dumb and toxic ( somehow seems worse in Tamil

can’t wait for the episodes to air.

Until now we had Virat standing up for Sai many times but one fight has changed the perception. Even in the future, along with the good ones, they will misunderstand each other. The story cannot have only sweet moments. Misunderstandings, fights, and patch up are much needed to keep the story interesting.

But it wasn't one fight. It was 3 back to back fights. And it wasnt the fighting people had a problem with its the lack of certain subtle aspects that would have made it better. Like in the first fight people were ok because at the end of that as Virat is leaving, he sees that plate of food, realizes Sai had waited for him and immediately feels bad. And when he asks her to eat Sai also immediately melts but he walks off before she can say anything. In the second fight they should have completely avoided whst Virat said to ashwini. And after showing him give those admiring looks as she dealt with karishma and devi tai, again as a "husband" he melted so he should have "forgotten" about the apology until fanily reminded him but he should have tried to sambhalofy the situation....and in this last fight, the dialogues coukd have been better written in the first half. People do hurt each other in a fight but it was very hurtful to have Virat "count" every favor hes done. But it'd have still been ok if Virat had asked PP to leave as politely as he did with bua. Having her stay on for an extended period after Sai leaves, the repeated apologies to pp for not having been able to spend any time with her, go with her to the office (there are ENOUGH men not to mention women that could have accompanied her and in any case shes old enough to handle it), his asking her "why she didnt call him" - indirectly its giving her a license to pp that she can call Virat if she has such "chores" that she'd usually go to her own husband for , PP trying to "feed" him were ALL kinda unecessary. Sai was already hurt by PP when she walked in and started speaking unecessarily.

So i dont think people expect happy, fluffy, romance ALL the time. But in the middle of fights if we get voiceovers or monologues or small touches which show how the spouses "care" for each other even as they are screaming their heads off, it makes it real and audience will understand them better.

And they are unfortunately NOT following the Tamil version which had Virat be more stern with PP and much more vocal in support of Sai. They are following KD in which Virat was very mild or sometimes did not get even a little stern with his family, especially PP- even when they are blatantly wrong. Tamil also had one cringeworthy scene where PP applies the balm for Virat on his forehead. I was dreading that they may "borrow" that scene but thankfully they didnt. I hope i didnt give them any ideas and jinx it :(

I think in bengali version, things eventually start getting better after Sai is forced to leave by Virat who ultimately realises his folly but Sai leaving forces him to evaluate and reprimand everyone, mainly PP- whom he makes it super clear to that he " thinks" he loves his wife and to stay away from him and there is tremendous growth in the Sairat relationship in the future.

But then eventually the bengali version hit self-destruct when they decided to repeatedly introduce EMA, insecurity angles where Imon starts doubting Rono and repeated separation even after they both have a baby together. Rono seems to care 2 hoots for his own baby and Imon just keeps misunderstanding.

So hopefully the hindi version will also not hit self destruct in the process of trying to find MUs and negativity drama.

I agree that any story can't be always happy n sweet moments.. coz if it was it will not be any fun. But here the problem is Virat's confused stance. And his inability to take a proper stand for his own feelings..

I think they are not showing his stern stand against PP is mainly coz the makers want to show her as a parallel lead as I heard Neil say that in an interview.

But her being a parallel is totally unbelievable and cringeworthy for me.. I mean kya dikhaoge uski screen space badha ke.. And even if his character took a strong stand against PP in the other versions I don't think he will do it here. Because apparently they want to give equal importance to her🙄😡

That's what I feel too. Virat should be more firm with PP. She can still be the parallel lead. Her screen presence has to create that vibe na. Scenes don't have to created for Pakhi if they are not in the original.

Why are they so Adamant in showing that the real love story is virakhi?

And why do they keep showing as if sai is just a "charity case"?

I just don't understand the makers/ channel's intentions?

But Sai is not assuming. This history of a "relationship" and "love" has been there between PP and Virat. After Virat's pyaar-dosti slip up Sai will always bring up this fact until Virat clarifies in spasht shabd to both women about where he stands. Sai is making these statements - virat prefers to be served by you, or you should be happy I am giving you a chance to serve dinner etc to see Virats reaction. But he just stayed quiet and instead of asking pp to leave them alone he turns around and says "ab tum pp se iss tone mein kyun baat kar rahi ho"

In Amey's matter, Virat could have been more clear about why hes upset. Sai didn't understand that he was feeling protective. In any case Virat could not have arrested him until next day given that he was arguing with Sai all night after finding out about Amey and eventually Sai did not cancel her plan and subah subah usko ghar bulaya toh it wasn't really that Virat "respected her wishes" . Agar karta toh atleast he would have asked her what her plan was. He also understood what she was trying to do as he heard it on speaker. He finally figured out that all the sweet talking was to mislead Amey into believing that Sai had money. After Amey's "khulasa" I wish he had said something to indicate to Sai and to the family that he is proud of Sai's stance even if he didn't agree with her methods fully.

Virat has responsibilities towards Samrat but it didn't require an unecessarily long PP-Virat scene to be shown where he is looking guilty and upset about not "being there for PP" to chat with her, to help her. He is saying " tumne mujhe call kyun nahin kiya" which Pp can miscontrue as "i can call Virat everytime i need a favor just like his wife can". That whole scene was not required. Pehli baar CVs ne "creativity" aur "originality" ke naam pe yeh diya humein! 🙄

If you notice, he told her about her tone, not about what she said. So implicitly, it means he agrees with her, even though he didn't intend to at all.

Totally wrong that whole conversation
