Virat's head hurts. Wife is spewing acid. Enter Patralekha with tea and sympathy. She makes her point in soft, even tones. Sai got a family, security and education from this marriage. Then she plunges the knife right into him. What did you get? Sai is devastated. Virat chokes up.
Pakhi-1, Sai-0.
Sai let's loose in her usual style. She has no strategy, TPS. To the Point Sai. I'm not in competition with you for Virat, she says and stomps off, leaving him hurt. Pakhi does everything he'd love Sai to do. She soothes him. She gives him food. She empathises with him. And then, she sees her chance. I couldn't ask for your help because you were with her, she says plunging the knife in for a second time. Virat is guilty.
Pakhi-2, Sai-0.
His head is splitting. He just wants to rest. But he's emotionally vulnerable now. She sees her chance and twists the knife. She's destroying your life, she says.
Technically, Pakhi-3, Sai-0.
But, Virat's eyes haven't left Sai as long as she's in the room. Pakhi only really has his attention once Sai is gone. Pakhi has overplayed her hand. She's missed a huge point here. Virat cares for Sai. It's beyond any deal now. He cares. And hurting Sai hurts him more.
Reality: Pakhi-3, Sai- doesn't need to play the game.
Excellent episode. I know people are annoyed at the extended Pakhi-Virat scene. But the story moved. The emotions are raw and out there now. Also, there was plenty of confrontation without yelling. Lethal things were said without shrieking. No headache today, only mild heartache on which balm will be applied.
