Age difference b/w sairat ?

I was watching sairat grahpravesh & reception episode where kaku mentioned virat married a grl who is half of his age & some ladies said virat married kam umar ki ladki.

My question how old is virat ?

Sai would be max 18 or 19 but virat I don't think he is in late 30's , I guess virat would be near by 25 or 28 & age difference would be max 7 to 8 yrs but it's normal .

half the age is just an exaggeration. Sai is a girl straight out of school, she is 18, Virat is 27-28 in the show.

Hello! This is one widely debated question. I am not too sure either, but from what the makers have been hinting at, I would assume his age to be somewhere in the range of 25-27.

In some episode, Ashwini had said something about 28 years of her marriage, implying that Virat has to be younger than 28 y.

Then, he has been referred to as the youngest IPS officer and a prodigy at that too, so he's got to be around 21-22 when he cleared the exam. Again, since GC was his first posting, it means he was fresh out of the SVPNPA when he was posted there. So, 21/22/23 (age)+1/2 9time period)= he shouldn't be more than 25/26, IMO, and that according to me is not a bizarre or unconventional age gap.

Maybe, others can enlighten us more on this.

I think there is about 10 yea age difference hence the reference to Virat being older

Also I think cause Sai is barely 18 or 19 .. a kid really the age difference is magnified

if Sai was 25 and Virat 35 I think it would be more acceptable to the family

He can't be older than 27 (since his parents are married for 28 years). Sai should be 18-19. People are worried that the age gap is problematic because Sai is at quite an impressionable age and can be taken as "grooming". But I think not. It seems like a normal age difference in India.

It’s about 10 yrs difference. Not a big deal but on this show it’s bloody annoying!! They keep harping on it. I guess it’s because Sai is still a teen.

I think the age gap between them is exaggerated only due to how young sai is. I mean she is straight out of school and just turned 18, which is still an odd age for girls to get married nowadays, even for chavans who have high expectations from their bahus, so in their eyes an 18 year old girl is too young or lacking in maturity to be a wife to their 25+ son from whom they have high expectations. A family who has a mature and responsible son would view the ideal partner for him being mature and responsible too, and definitely not a straight-out-of-school girl.
