How dare a daughter (applies to Sons equally) can let their parents know that she is marrying a man just to be close to his brother and lust after him🤢?

Parents instead of giving her an earful and lecture on ethics/morals are mollycoddling her and convincing/requesting her to move on. I think this where the character of Pakhi comes from. It seems she is never been reprimended for wrong ways of getting things. Irrespective of right and wrong(unethical), her parents want her to be happy.

Compare this description with Sai's father. 'Insaf pasand insaan'. He chose to stay back at GC (even though his most beloved daughter hated the decision and was also endangered) just for the sake of saftey of other girls living in that area.
