I don't think Mohit makes a significant contribution to the family's income. Else why would Karishma be upset with him during SaiRat wedding reception. Seeing Omkar & Sonali side with kaku makes me doubt if she is the one who sponsors money for their expenses. Or perhaps they live on the money from the joint family property which belongs to all the Chavans.

I dont think they ever mentioned what Omkar did or does. I dint see the initial episodes, so am not sure. But looks like they are kind of dependent on Bhavani kaku's meherbani.

Maybe all this belonged to Bhavani kaku's husband and that's why they side her 🤔

I think their income is related to family property which is managed by Bhavani. Since her husband is the eldest son in his generation he must have had certain rights on it being the first male successor when he was alive. Since they have no sons Virat must have been looked upon as the eldest male successor in the next generation.

Yes. Though this show is somewhat better than other iTV shows in terms of plot there is no background story development. All characters revolve around main characters.

Sai's Medical fee won't be a problem. Whether a topper or not once you qualify for state/national entrance exams, you get admission into government Medical colleges where the fee is really negligible. It's basically government sponsored for all students. So no question of scholarship. I do hope they pay attention to these details.

I do wish they'd show practical stuff like Sai's life with college, coursework and Virat's professional life.

An IPS officer wouldn't earn enough to support the luxuries of this Chavan family. Goverment salary isn't that much.

Government job mein prestige jitna jyada paisa utna kam. So the pensions plus the salary of Virat and Samrat could not be that much.

I think Chavans definitely have some ancestral properties which are the main source of their income and that property is controlled by Kaku which is why she has that kind of iron grip on the family and the rest of the elders side with her.

Govt. Medical colleges take very little money for annual fees and examination fee. So that won't be a problem for Sai.

In the Bengali version , Omkar's wife brought in a lot of money and steady source of money flow from her maternal home so that means she sponsors her son Mohit.

Also , I wish Patralekha starts working again instead of doing taka jhaki in other people's lives. Job mein man bhi uljha rahega aur waqt bhi nikal jayega.
