Marriage and 'you are mine'

Marriage as per our value system does instill a sesnse of responsibility and sense of 'you are only mine' feeling (love or no love).In arrange marriage, this sense of responsibility and 'you r mine' feeling is the starting point of the love/bond that develops later as the couple starts staying together.

In the car scene where Virat protected Sai (from getting hurt) instictively (he himself was surprised at his act) comes from this value system. Also, Sai felt bad when she saw Virat crying in the car (not because she loves him) but the sense of 'you are mine' got hurt(?).

I am just curious how the value system and the 'you are mine' sense plays out between Virat and Sai in coming days.

I kind of appreciate the lead couple (Virat-Sai) for their sincerity (to an extent) towards the wedding rituals when they both know its a deal. At the Gruhpravesh Pakhi was all in thoughts of another man whereas Virat was focussed on Sai and not even in aknowledgement Pakhi's presence.
