How is that love? (A Virat - Pakhi post)

I know that the Virat-Pakhi love story discussion is an old topic in this forum, but since I'm new, I just wanted to put forth my thoughts on their so-called divine love. And no... I'm not even gonna talk about the 2-din wala pyaar here. There are so many other things that make their love story so stupid, and even pointless.

I don't really know if I call the "thing" between Virat - Pakhi as love... but, if it is love, then it is TOXIC af. Starting with Virat, how do he expect that the girl who is supposedly in love with him, to marry his brother and live under to same roof as him, without constantly getting reminded of what both of their future could have been together? And worst of all, how could he take the decision for Samrat as well, if he claims to love his brother so much!

And coming to Pakhi, no matter what Virat says... or promises, if she really did love him, how could she be okay with the fact that he would always be alone and never move on in life? What kind of sadistic pleasure would she derive from him pining after her always?

If what they have is called love, I'm really glad that they're not working out, because its the very definition of toxic.

Tell me what you guys think.

Love,

Niya🤗

I literally just read something on fb; a toxic relationship is not when a partner is bad to you everyday, it is when they are bad to you one day, and good to you another, confusing you, whether you should stay or go.

This is literally the essence of Virkhi's "relationship". When Virat did not recognise Pakhi's voice, she blocked him. She decided to get married, but then Virat explained everything, and she wanted to back out from something she agreed to.

Virat has his share of issues as well, emotionally manipulating her into accepting and she agreeing to it because she would be close to Virat. Leave alone the moral aspect of it, it is toxic as hell.

Let me forget the fact that Pakhi is married, her questioning him about Sai, asking why Sai and her father is dependent on him, her asking him to leave his job and come back to her is the very essence of a toxic relationship. And Virat is responsible for it as well, because he has enabled Pakhi's behaviour. He has given her the right to question him.

As expected, they have not known each other for long and haven't been able to build that trust and respect that is so important in any relationship.

When I compare Virkhi with SaiRat, i realise that understanding, trust and respect is primordial in any relationship. While these are lacking in Virkhi, SaiRat are in the process of building that. The lack of trust and respect is why Virkhi did not happen, and whatever else remains, will crumble soon....

For a moment, we can even believe their "love" because a lot of people fall in love at first sight.

But the most idiotic thing has to be Virat's promise to Pakhi that he won't love anyone else. How can you promise such a thing? We have no control over matters of the heart, all we do have control over is what we choose to do with those feelings. And I seriously don't know how Virat not loving anyone else is helping VirKhi's cause. Pakhi will STILL be married to Samrat and she won't get Virat.

As you said, this is next level sadistic stuff from Pakhi. But she never asked for this promise. I don't know what sort of kick Virat gets out of hurting himself. Three unhappy people, four if you include Sai. Of what use was this promise?
