Exactly! See if they want to add a few changes here and there that's fine but that should be convincing and suitable to the story but not irritating for the viewers. If they can't manage it properly they better should follow the original series but not ruin it. Why show unnecessary drama and increase Pakhi's screen space? To annoy the viewers?

Also Virat calling his sister-in-law (Pakhi) to Gadchiroli sounds like shit! Is he out of his senses? Already Samrat has left the house and everyone started doubting Pakhi. Why he wants to turn things even murkier than they actually are? This would definitely be a stupid decision from his side.
