Pakhi loves Virat

I don't feel good about forced marriages as in we shouldn't promote or romanticize it, I am unable to like any couple which is being forced in a relationship

They can get an annulment but we are not progressive enough to break shackles of mangalsutra for love

Virat is no doubt a nice person, I like Samrat more than him though !

I completely agree with you. ITV has glorified forced marriages in the name of "destiny" and "kartavya" for too long now. But I only have one problem. The way they've set the base for Pakhi and Virat, they're NOT a couple you can root for. They know as less about each other as we know of them. Their connection, so called love is so unrelatable. As for SaiRat, I really don't want a young girl to have to get married against her wishes. But the writers are super chalu. They WANT us to root for S+ V instead of V + P. Even though it'll be a forced marriage, dheere dheere they'll show a bond between the two whereas V and P's bond will be restricted to the two day yoga trip. This sucks. They could've done a better job on their relationship.

We are supposed to be rooting for S+V thats why so much footage to their unnecessary banter and only two days yoga trip to S+P.🤣

Where GHKKPM is concerned we have step back at least 10 years and completely ignore the education and executive jobs these people hold.

I mean in this day and age, when most people have social media platforms and just a name is mostly enough to hunt them down, Pakhi couldn’t find anything about Virat? Arrey yaar! people hunt information about crushes more diligently than how much effort Pakhi put in for man she allegedly loves.

For all the major/IPS/ army positions the Chavan family holds, for all the guts the apparent matriarch shows, the family still exhibits misogyny. It’s seen in how Vahini treats other women of the house. She has all the rights to correct them but she resorts to insults mostly. Also why is there no discussion in the family around women working/ earning / doing anything apart from being the perfect bahu?!.

Pakhi being forced to marry someone she does not love, Sai being forced to marry at a young age and also someone she strongly dislikes - misogyny. Virat can “take care” of Sai without marrying her. Put her and family in a home near him/ help her financially/ help her finish her education/ get the goons prosecuted - none of these require Viray marrying her. It’s the same misogynistic trope.

Progressive and Star Plus has always been parallel patris and looks like will continue to be.

Virat and Paakhi is a story done to death, one has to admit that this 2 din ka pyaar and sacrifice is so putting off to watch.

Samrat is vibrant and a wholesome character so far. If only Paakhi speaks up, it’ll save him the torture of an unloved marriage too.

This show could easily show Samrat and Pakhi marriage and falling in love with how Sai and Virat will do. So have it play parallel.

I could be interested in seeing that, i liked Samrat from his first appearence, i dont follow this show as much but i did watch his appearence and him meeting Pakhi

With how Pakhi is being, and how she will be.... she needs someone like Samrat to balance her out too...
