Yuvraj and his little pardon

I know we've touched on this before, but how can Yuvraj be coddled so much by his family STILL? They so, so easily forgave him in the episode, saying it wasn't his fault, Kajri tricked him, he did not know how evil and greedy she was.

This pisses me off ... a lot. What he did was MUCH worse than what Karan did to the family. He kicked his father, grandmother, sisters, etc. out of THEIR home. He cheated them of their HOME. If Kajri had said let's get the rest of the girls' jewelry, he having the mindset of a girl-crazy, pubescent boy, would have said "thik hai."

He cheated his own family. His own father, grandmother! HE NEVER FELT GUILTY ABOUT WHAT HE HAD DONE. And he was angry about his family treating HIM badly--what a self-centered fool.

I'm not making a case for Karan here, but I am livid that STILL his family covers for their little "crown prince." Lakshmi should take the words today and shove them up her ....

yess.. totally agreed...he kidnap himself ask for the money and then marries a kothe wali...and sisters say it wasnt ur fault..acha if its not then whos?for a bahna lakshmi will blame this too on karan....

Suryakant almost got shot because of what Yuvraj did. Kshitij went to jail because of Yuvraj. I mean, they should kick his butt out of the house and tell him to live on his own for a while and get his head and life together. Then he can come back.

Remember, inside, Yuvraj is the same pubescent he always was. Mark my words--he will have learned nothing, just like his sorry excuse of a mother Menka. Love can only do so many things--but it's not going to change selfish fools, who are negative in every fiber of their being.

i totally agree.....its sick to see such an attitude....the garodias are plain biased....they can overlook their own bloods mistake but not sumone else's....and the fact that this sumone else i.e karan is repenting and not acting like yuvraj has no effect on them.....

whatever the garodias do to each other can be forgiven and forgotten easily but if sumone else does sumthing then its unpardonable......such double standards and they talk off sanskar and all that.....

I agree with you. Karan's actions were nothing to what Yuvraj did, but like they say...blood relations come first!

I agree with blood first in general but not when someone has done something wrong or what a layman would call "wrong."

I told you above that Menka would come back and she has; the speed with which this happened surprised even me. Menka is just decaying inside with her continued jealousies and hatreds. Are the writers thinking alter ego or are they trying to position this as a multiple personality disorder-type illness she developed with the stress/humiliation/fear she suffered with Kajri at the kotha? Or is it just plain Menka. How long before she starts bothering the girls? Savitri? Angling for her "prince"?

I completely agree. After throwing his family out, not helping them thru their hardest times, and not being there for Surya during his surgery - they still forgive him, even though after a lot of convincing.

But with Karan, who did so much for the family, whom without Surya wudnt be able to be alive today... they havent forgiven him! It was really really disgusting today when Laxmi was giving Surya a lecture on how Surya shud forgive Yuv.. of all ppl she was the one explaining how ppl shud be forgiven?
