17th July Update -
Gauri's Room -
Gauri's crying and Saras asks her why she asked for forgiveness when she was not wrong in the first place and that if Laxmi was here she wud never have let her do this. Gauri says she has no proof to prove her story, and no one wud believe her anyway, so she had no choice. Both hug.
Temple -
Verma family are all at the temple standing the line waiting for pooja. We see Karan at the front of the line who spots them and says to himself that looks like they need help and he needs to do something. He bribes the ppl one by one so that the Verma family can come ahead in line. The people call them to come ahead, and Laxmi smells something fishy. So all tell her that she thinks to much and they shud just go ahead as all want them to. They enter in to do pooja and they see Karan there, who joins them in the pooja. He tells Ria that he paid the ppl so that they could come in front, Laxmi overhears and gets very angry. She yells at him for doing such a thing in the temple. She hands the aarti ka thali to Durga and tells that she cannot do such a pooja. They stop her from going, but she's adamant that she will stand in the line again. Karan tries to convince her, but she is begins to leave when he holds her hand. She furiously tells him to leave her hand but he doesn't. She slaps him hard on his face in front of everyone... and she leaves to stand in the line. An angry Karan looks on.
Garodia House -
Surya is sitting in his room thinking deeply when Gauri walks in and sits next to him. She cries and holds his hand and he too cries. Gauri tells him that she's at fault for everything and to forgive her. He tells her that he's forgiven her, because he knows that she made a mistake. But what he's worried abt is what ppl will say abt the family now after reading the article on her. He says he's only worried abt what trouble the future will bring on her life and assures her that he will help her thru all that. He says he's very impressed with her that she's asking forgiveness for her mistakes and he can Saraswati's values in her. He tells that he completely trusts his daughters and knows that they can do nothing wrong.
Other Room -
Baa is on the swing and Surya enters and sits next to her. He asks her if she's worried abt Gauri. Baa tells him that they are very lucky to have such wonderful daughters in their family who wud never forget their values no matter what. And then she gives an example of one of her friends children, she says that her friend Sunanda has 3 sons and 3 bahus, they are Manhar, Kanti, and Hari and bahus Indira, Kokila, Bhavna... they are all at each others throats and almost going to have a partition of the property. She continues saying that whats the use of having sons when they turn out like this. She says that she can see that times are changing, but Surya tells that with a wonderful son & DIL as theirs nothing can happen to them.
Yuv Room -
Yuv in on the phone yelling at someone, he hangs up and Kaj enters. He yells at Kaj saying that she shudn't have gone to the kotha in the first place and he wonders how the family will react when they come to know the real truth of Kaj. He warns her not to go there again, but she lies saying she she had to go since Rasili bai was not well. Yuv points his finger at her and speaks with a very rude tone saying that now on whenever she leaves the house, she shud ask his permission. Kaj is very angry and pushes his hand away telling him never to speak to her like that. Kaj's phone rings, its Rasili. Yuv hears it and snatches the phone and yells at her. Rasili asks him whats wrong? He tells her what happened and its all her fault. He screams at her and warns her never to call Kaj to the kotha again and hangs up. Both Rasili & Kaj are furious at him. He leaves the room in a huff.
Garodia House -
Surya & Baa are going to Ahemdabad for Baa's medical checkup, and Savitri says that she can handle everything here. Surya tells Savitri he's worried abt Gauri and to take care of her because he never wants to make his daughters feel alone and scared. And Baa & Surya leave.
Hospital in Ahemdabad -
Surya gets the reports of Baa and says that everything is fine. Baa then tells that since they are in Ahemdabad, they shud visit Sunanda and their family. He agrees and they leave.
Sunanda's house -
They show all at each others throats and a very unhappy situation at the house. (Looks like they have merged Teen Bahuraniyaan with Betiyaan. There is a whole big scene here on them, can't explain since I don't see the show.) Episode ends with this scene.
My Comments: Nothing really happened much in today's episode, except we know now that Surya has not changed back to his old self and he loves his daughters dearly. Now what I wonder is, how come Karan has so much money to distribute to the people? Looks like he is a rich guy... hmm! And a blooper I've been noticing for a while now, Suryakant sent his daughters to Verma uncle's house. But where is Verma uncle?? All we see is the mom who keeps saying 'how cute!!!' and the two girls. I find it ridiculous that Surya wud send his girls to a family where there is no olderly or responsible member to look after them. The mom doesn't seem responsible at all, if she says 'how cute' one more time I'll scream!! And Karan's behaviour of popping in into these girls lives every now and then is getting annoying.
