I know I should have perhaps waited for permission but when I saw that you guys have to depend on zeetv site for updates I could'nt help but update….
Please excuse my over enthusiasm….do let me know if you guys don't like it….
The wedding is still on…….
Satyakaam and Laxmi are performing on the Song .." Baat meri suniye to zara" from the Abhishek and Ash movie….
Other people of the family also join in….the bua's with Satyakaam's friend.
Yuvraj…..also with girls… Laxmi's Masi with her step-mama….
Even Laxmi's father and grandmother are enjoying the show with Satyakam's father…who is happy and says that…" aaj to baccho ne mazza baandh diya…"
But all of this play all along the corridors by Satya and laxmi is not liked by her step mother and she nods in a sinster way to her husband who also gets angry and gives his trademark sinster looks to Laxmi and her mother….
Laxmi's mother as usual gets very nervous and worried and so does Laxmi…
Laxmi stops dancing and stares at her father for sometime and then retreats….
Satya is surprised to suddenly find Laxmi not dancing with him and others in the middle…
Laxmi's father decides to say something but her grandmother stops him by holding his hand and says that they must proceed to dinner and not spoil the fun for the children…..
All the ladies aof the Laxmi group are standing together and just then the step mother comes and calls Laxmi's mother to feed all the guests…..she grudgingly goes…..
Masi is with the daughters……Laxmi worriedly tells her that her father has seen her dancing with satya and he is angry ….but Masi says that dancing on a happy occasion is not a crime and she will handle everything…..
All the boy's side family is having dinner and laxmi's mother and step mother are catering to them….
Satya's friend teases him that he has stopped dancing so soon .. why.... and Satya says that he can sense some thing is amiss as Laxmi stopped … and went away and is further teased that for the first time he has danced with a girl and that too didn't go off well….
Just then a family friend comes and tells Suryakant that his children are still busy dancing.. Seeing Yuvraj dancing and then Suryakant says that it is his age and his son Yuvraj does so enjoy dancing….
Then all the menfolk in there typical chauvinistic way start saying athat particularly since girls are all around him…
Then someone says that Suryakant be careful lest some girl ensnares your son but he in his blind faith says that his son is not like that… he knows his son too well….and then goes on to add that in his old age he can't dance and enjoy and it is up to the kids to enjoy themselves…..
This is not tolerated by the Masi and then she tells Suryakant in front of everyone that it appears that he looks at his son and daughters with different eyes and then a useless discussion starts off that it is right to differentiate between daughters and sons….
With Surya…. saying that daughters can never equal a son… or rather girls can never compete with boys… Savitri and her mother in law diffuse the situation….
Hulki and Phulki bua's scold the girls as to why they are loitering around it is the time for vidai.. and they should go and get their sister ready for vidai….they say that perhaps something is brewing between Laxmi and Satyakaam….
Satya is still wondering about Laxmi and worried as to why she left the dance….. his friend tells him to go and ask Laxmi if he was so worried … and he goes to look for her and finds her standing by the Tulsi plant on the upper floors….
He asks her what is the problem but she tells him to go and enjoy the party and says she had got tired dancing and had come up for some air…then he tells her that he is her friend…..they have this discussion for some time….
Just then Durga comes to call Laxmi as it is time for vidai…..
Satya… is left standing….and just then Maneka who has been standing in the shadows comes and asks him what is wrong..he just says that he was tired and came up for some air…. Repeating the same excuse as Laxmi….and then he goes….
Maneka says that Satya… I will not leave you this easy since you have expressed solidarity with Laxmi and her mother over kanyadaan….today you have been saved…... but wait till the next time….
