In the serial they show there is discrimination between girl child and boy child. The boy is pampered and loved the most. He is given the best of everything and His choice matters. This is all agreeable.

But what I was pondering is that is it plausible in real life for a rich man like Suryakant's not to
a) celebrate birthday 😭 of the girl
b) No gift 😭 He gifts his son an expensive car
c) No wishes šŸ˜• They dont cost a thing.

yeah tht was wat i was thinking...all this seems a bit toooo far fetched u know!! i mean dont they have enuff rooms in their big house tht the daughters have to leave their room!! the son goes to harvard...so obviously the family is not completely 'dihaati minded' so how can they show them as being so shallow-minded!! it seems a way bit toooooo much!

Suryakant's not celebrating his daughter's birthday or not giving her gifts have nothing to do with his economic condition. It is all in his mind. He does not like daughters and does not have any feelings for them. What they are showing may be a little dramatized but I know people with this kind on mentality. That is why i feel sad when I see the four sisters and their mother being neglected.

it doesnt make sense. no one can NOT be happy of giving birth to a child, no one would neglect the kid. thats s o stupid. even though u r not happy with the gender, u still dont abandon ur baby. so irritatin whenever i see him neglecting his daughters wishes everytime.

Thats another good point. As a child he must have lived in some room. Going to Harvard for studies means they have pretty rich and aware of quality of education. His daughters are studying too. He might despise them but not not allowing food of their choice or not even wishing her. I really find that too desolating. 😭

this is such an open display of male chauvinism. 😔 boys gets cars, girls dun even get blessings? 😭 how fair is that? 😭

suryakant should reflect on his discriminating behaviour. 😔 the person who gave birth to him was also a woman. if his mother's father thought tt girls were useless and had killed her at birth, suryakant wun even be existing today. 😊

Dude watch punjabi news sometimes. everyday ther is a story about girls being neglected, aborted or abandoned. There are people that are unhappy giving birth and do it only becasue there families kindof force them.
