Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan finally comes to an end

It's time to rejoice for all those people who're really bored of watching Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan on Zee TV and are just waiting for the show to go off air.

The good news is that your wish is soon going to come true. The show's last episode is said to air on August 13.

Now let us also tell you the reason behind it. It's said that the show's contract with the channel is getting over by August and that the show isn't getting enough TRP's, like it used to in the beginning. The episodes are undoubtedly sad. Do you remember a single episode where you've seen any of them smiling lately? Not really! Also, all the sisters in the show are going through a real bad phase in life for a long time. So this may possibly be another reason for the low TRP's."

To confirm if the show is really going off air, Indya spoke to Zee TV's programming head Ajay Balawalkar. He says, "Well, yes. We're going off air in August. We haven't yet finalised the script for the last episode. We're still working on it. I don't really want to disclose the exact date but by the middle of August the show might come to an end." Well, we already know when will it go off air Mr Balawalkar.

When he was asked which show is going to be replaced by the current one, he says, "I can't tell you that now. It's too early to comment on this." Well, that's fine even if you don't Mr. Balawalkar. We've found out that a new show Karol Baugh will be replaced by Ghar Ki Lakshmi…on Zee TV.

Thank goodness. And frankly these girl's good times usually last an episode, if that. This show was and still is sexist and stupid (its the man's chromosome that determines sex of a child not the woman's). I am so glad its going off, but sorry it ever came on in the first place. It has always put women down and elevated men. Two women willing to share their husband is disgusting. And putting the greedy n'er do well son above the devoted daughters is so tipical male chauvenist pig. Even though they did acknowledge the girls later, it was too little too late. Good riddance Betiyaan.

oKAY! Allthough Betyiaan has come to an end we must all remember that Betyiaan has set great example in the mindset of most of the middle and upper middle class families of the society.
